Looks good. What is the build quality like for Dell laptops? Are they as bad as say Acers?

it depends what Dell you go for.. for example their Inspiron range are budget version of the Studio and XPS range.

U cant go wrong if you spend the extra £44 on 3 yrs warranty.

very subjective but i'd say the build of Dell Studios is a little worse than the Acer Gemstones.
