no blue ray?

Not very good specification... should be i5/i7 by now...

Just not worth it at that price. The new Vostro 13.2" with Intel i5 and dedicated graphics would be a much better buy.

Sounds familiar! My brother has a studio xps13 and the mac style keyboard isn't the same quality as on the m1330 otherwise they are pretty much the same. Anyone who gets this will want to contact dell after a year to get an extended warranty.

I had one for about 6 months. Be warned they get very very hot on the bottom.
The vents for the fans are blocked by the screen when its open.

Aimed at different markets though.Vostro is a No-frills budget range … Aimed at different markets though.Vostro is a No-frills budget range aimed at the business user, with Collect and Return warranty as standard. XPS is a premium consumer line with next-day onsite warranty. Both have dedicated graphics btw.

Well the No-frills budget range would appear to have far superior specs than this premium consumer line laptop. Look for yourself, I see better chipset, better graphics and much better CPUs in the Vostro released today. This Studio XPS has been out for yonks, its due an update very soon.

4 Mobo's, 2 palmrests and 2 keyboards...

I really do not still love mine! lol

I have agreement to get a new (different) laptop next time it blows a mobo.

Agreed, the new 13" Vostro is much better than the XPS
