Cant argue with it - its £446 inc vat and shipping from Dell.

does this use the same panel as the 2407wfp-hc

PRE-ORDER Due 23rd October (today basically)

Don't if this store is reliable, £311.38 inc vat
£320.78 inc postage

viewing angles are 160/160 which are TN panels. not the same as the 2407wfp or the HC model.

you can get a samsung 24" from amazon for like £314

This is good for the 4 years warranty however.

£320 delivered. Should be in stock or will be in shortly according to the website.

It seems that link goes to a vostro laptop. I picked Ocuk as they seemed to be one of the only people with it in stock.

E248WFP use TN panel. That is why it is much cheaper than 2407wfp-hc.

I was looking at the Dell 2407wfp-hc instead for about £440 from ebuyer.

Should I be saving money getting this monitor or the Samsung SM-245B instead?

Whats a TN panel and what does the 2407wfp-hc have instead then please?

It all depends what you are looking to do. The more expensive dell has a panel that has a 24 bit panel, opposed to the TN panel which only has 18 bits so the more expensive one has a richer image but the TN panel usually has a faster response rate. So if your looking to do photo editing the more expensive panel might be worth it but if your looking to game you could benefit from the faster response time.

i would but a 2407 hc if it wasnt for the ghosting issue it has.

I actually use photoshop alot for image and photo editing and also want a LCD for top spec gaming and the internet. 2407 hc has no ghosting issue anymore i'm told and reviews rate it best 24inch.

I'm after the best 24 inch full stop or 22inch if price difference not worth it for the extra 2 inch. Pref smart looking with brushed alluminium stand.
