Brilliant view. World-class performance. Let your work come to life in precise colour detail, with sharp QHD resolution and extensive connectivity options for outstanding usability.

Since each monitor is tuned at 99% sRGB, the colours look amazing right out of the box. The ultra-wide viewing angle on this 68.5 cm (27") display lets you admire the QHD resolution at virtually any angle without losing those gorgeous colours.

More ways to connect: Charge, connect and project handheld devices and more with extensive ports.

Interesting, thanks. It's not much more than the 24" version I've got my eye on. Anyone know if you can run this at 1920x1080? (for better performance in Lightroom).

Are there 16x10 monitors at this size, or any bargain 24"ers?

I can recommend 2 monitors for 24". The Dell U2412M is a great buy at around £200. Or the Dell U2413 is around £300.

The U2413 is a the best picture you will get on a monitor short of £500, it has the closest sRGB and is intended for Photoshop etc.
Who are Fuzion though?
It's pretty much the same price at ITCSales.co.uk.

ITCSales get Dell Refurbished monitors and sell them cheaply, they come with a 1 year warranty and i've had 2 monitors from them and never had an issue, they look brand new.

So don't worry too much if you miss out on this or if you're not keen on Fuzion, you can always buy through a reputable seller for the same price at any point.
Heat applied.
The problem with newer Dell models is that their design team has been infected with Appleitis. So they have made the bezel too thin to allow USB ports on the side so instead they are all at the back with all but one inconveniently placed facing downwards alongside the video inputs.
So what was a convenient feature is now relegated to history.

You can give this a 1920x1080 input and it will work just fine by scaling it up for the display but I'm confused as to why you'd want to. If it's for making text easier to read, windows 8, 8.1, 10, and mac os everything-since-about-2012 support scaling which'll increase the size of a program without sacrificing fine detail on text. That's a much better solution than running at a lower-than-native resolution which'll make things blurry.

You say it's for performance reasons? Never used Lightroom but I use Sony Vegas and it's just as fast regardless of whether it's running at 640x480 or 3840x2160. It's easier to use at the higher end of that though as you get more on screen at once.

Thanks SamBalmforth, for your advice and links - ITC have new U2415 for less than amazon.

Thanks CampGareth. Yes, there are many complaints of poor Lightroom performance at resolutions higher than 1920.

Deal expired - now back up to £382 (or £324 amazon warehouse)
