This model has been this price for quite a number of weeks, about time they had it under £300!

no it hasn't although it did come up for sale at this price a few months ago.

Still good price in comparision with other C2D machines.

Although adding bits does take it above £350

(bluetooth, etc..)

Mike any idea what the differnce is between this 1510 and that new vostro you posted 2 days ago? (upgraded to 2gig and 160 hard drive and dual core) . Seems smilar spec at a similar price but I am wondering if the new vostro is a better design..

Good deal! Hot!!

Do not run Vista in 1Gb ram - get at least 2gb!

I will wait for the voucher, lol.

How much is the voucher normally worth?

I think perhaps it would affect the "free delivery over £299" so it needs to be worth a bit more than the delivery cost. How much was the last voucher for?

P.S. Don't forget Quidco...

Yup Quidco will take it under £300:thumbsup:

Hummmmm its tempting... Not sure if I should go for this or one of the other Dell laptops you posted....

My config is coming up to £351 - what voucher can I use? How less will it bring the price then? I've tried searching but can't find a voucher around.

Its still £310 in its base config, there are no vouchers that I know of atm.

That would give you another gig , dell is looking £4o-odd for that.

Which power adaptor is best The 65W or the 90W?

As there is no charge for the 90W one.

I cant get that price of £310 if i go through Quidco, although the link given at the start of this topic does work.

In fact i cant find the Vostro section if i go through quidco. I can find it from a search but it puts me in the small business section and the price comes out at about £350

Help please.

Go to the home site via quidco, click "purchase help" and look on that page for shop by ecode. Enter ecode 305-N0815109A to get to the product.

I'd go for the 90w as there will be more output power & PS should not heat up as much if your working on the laptop when battery is low & trying to charge at the same time.

90 watt PSU is only accepted if you upgrade the graphics otherwise you get an incompatibility message.

ok ta, 65W will be ordered then
