Upgrade the monitor (or anything £60+) to be able to use the 10% discount voucher.

With 22in E2210 UK Black Widescreen E-Series (1680X1050) TCO03 DVI-D monitor you get an extra £44 discount. Total price is then £455

Not sure why this has a "score" of minus 6 degrees.

Seems a decent deal to me for business use. Good spec, 21" screen, Windows Professional (if you want to connect to a Windows network).

Basic graphics, but thats all you need for a business environment.

I have just noticed that on the "cheaper" Dell that Mike has posted below it costs £150 to upgrade to the E7500 CPU, and £35 to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional (that are both available on this deal). I know that Dell "adds on" are not always good value, but it gives an indication of how much extra "value" you are getting on this deal.

Yes this deal last month got very hot at £412 so I cant quite see why its so cold.
Add something if you need it to bring the cost up some more and you can use the 10% voucher too

A mate phoned me this morning about a Dell deal he had seen in the paper - Though it was for an Inspiron 545. From memory it had exactly the same spec as this except for the CPU which was a Celeron. Priced at £369 I think he said.....

Personally I'd prefer a Core2Duo over a similar speed Celeron any day!

Just found the advert - expires today.
It's a Celeron 450 so only 2.2Ghz and there's only 2Gb RAM plus a 19 in 1 card reader otherwise the spec is the same [different case of course - piano black finish] OS is Home Premium rather than Professional - and covered under the Consumer Credit Act as it's Personal section ratgher than Business
Evalue code: DMUK5-D004515 if anyone's interested

Typing this on one of these Vostros bought on the previous £412 deal last month, a well rounded machine.

Remember you can get 5% Quidco on the ex. VAT/delivery price too
