Thanks boobie ;-)

You do get a lot for your money here.

Is it possible to add a graphics card such as the 8800 GT or is the case too small?

Original Poster

The 8800GT should fit fine.. but not sure whether the PSU has a 6 pin adapter. You can buy them though.

Most of the cards come with an adaptor to use with a normal 4 pin molex connector.
I think it would be worth paying the extra 60 quid for the e8200. Especially if you going to getting the 8800GT card

how do i find this once i've gone through quidco?

Yes.

nice beefy hard drive, and only £50 more to get 1.5TB!!

Is the £40 graphics card good enough to run a 20" screen at 1680 x 1200 resolution?

Or should I add a seperate graphics card to the inbuilt card? Any advice on a graphics card to power the above screen resolution most appreciated (will not be used for gaming).

thanks

Clearly this is the surgemaster :-D

For some reason I can't get this price. I have added all the extras mentioned in the first post, what else should I be doing?

Thanks

It's very cheap. I quite like it but it is showed in small&medium business. Will it be ok if I buy it for home use. I dont have any business.

Just make sure you don't actually PICK that as an upgrade. £210 for an 8800GT? That's a joke! You can pick one of those up for less than £100 if I recall correctly. I've also seen 9800GTX's on dabs for £200!

How did you get the price? Why did I have £305.57 when I didn't take the router and the surge master? Not even the wireless keyboard and mice.

Original Poster

You need to get the non dicounted price over £329 for the discount to kick in.

Yes it is fine. Just make sure you put your own name in the business box.

Just wondering what I've missed, because I had to add a Webcam to get over £329.
I have the card reader, wireless keyboard, surge protector, router, dvd drive upgrades, and I still was £10 short, so what upgrade did you do?

Not that it really matters I guess, but didn't want to miss anything important

Did you add the P&P and tax? Why did I get £307 without the router, SurgeMaster or even Cordless keyboard and mice?

Wireless card?

Excellent value with a bit of simple upgrading a very capable gaming machine:thumbsup:

The onboard graphics will be fine for running that resolution; you don’t need a discrete graphics card.
