Anyone own one of these and would recommend?

If it's the one I'm thinking of it has the worst keyboard known to man (resembles the Surface touch keyboard)

This ruins an otherwise superb laptop.

Mixed results on Google. Does this come with a proper digitiser pen? Ie wacom or n trig?

I was thinking about getting a nexus 9 and a new pc. Am I being stupid or is this a much better idea? Will the ram upgrade to 8?

Wish the specs were better

i tried the xps12 3 times with faults but this price is amazing, i am just trying to see if you can upgrade the ram and i am in

Yes, the keyboard seems to be a big let down according to the reviews on the Dell site

Was about to order the laptop as it ticks many check boxes.

You can't, it is soldered.

CPU not great, keyboard seems a bit pants also otherwise I would have gone for this

The CPU could be better, but it`s still a good price. It all depends on what are you going to use it for.

Is the 15% off code just for this or is it for any Dell laptop? Anyone know?

Shame you can't combine it with a VIP discount....

Are these any good

Thanks. Drat - I have my eye on an inpsiron.

Are these any good

Reviews are a bit mixed but most complaints come from the solid keyboard and it's responsiveness but there's plenty of praise for the screen (image and responsiveness) and style.
If you're wanting a tablet that becomes a laptop on the odd occasion, it'll do you very nicely.
If you're wanting a laptop that becomes a tablet occasionally, you might get frustrated with the keyboard.

There is a £50 code for the 7000 series: J4H16JMGTBTGWH
Or register for the VIP club for a 10% off code which will probably work out better.

Which is better, this or the Asus Transformer T200?

Thanks - the one I fancy is £649 so 10% off will be nice.

Has this deal disappeared?

Is this any good for gaming? in particular Sims 4?

Seems to work with credit card too.

No - the Intel HD 4200 on-chip GPU will not run modern games well.

Is this more useful than an apple ipad 2? I am not a troll and I know they are different but just in practical terms for internet usage, occasional typing etc. Is this a better thing to own?

Does anyone know how much storage is taken up by the operating system? I'm trying to work out whether it's better to buy the larger hard drive or just bung an SD card in it?

I have just purchased at £351.90 using AMEX so it looks like not essential to use PAYPAL

Has the 128gb gone? I can't seem to find any mention/option for it.

Good stuff - the code was issued for use with PayPal but it looks like Dell don't care

Search cnx9p02, the price comes up as £414, then use the coupon to make it £351. Got a feeling this isn't going to last long, got my delivery through as 12th Nov.

If you use Office, this, but if you're planning on typing a lot, the keyboard is not great so maybe neither.
iPads are good for internet use & games.
Windows tablets are a compromise in terms of fluidity / ease of use but give you access to professional software and peripherals.

With the OS, recovery partition and formatting losses, you'll probably have about 80-85GB to play with on the 128GB model.

I don't need this, but it is sooo tempting to get one.

Thanks and Heat added

missleading

SD card will stick out at the side - not ideal to keep in permanently. … SD card will stick out at the side - not ideal to keep in permanently. 83GB of available space was reported on the original i5 128GB version - guessing above 100GB with Win 8.1 update?

Good enough for me! Thank you both kindly.

Well I was tempted at £372 but restrained myself....now look what you've made me do

Isn't this the same as "living hand to mouth" or struggle to live month to month?

Looks like a great price
