Good price for what ot is I guess bit nearly £1.8k being a good price for anything other than a car is crazy to me, noce for those who can afford it. Thanks OP
I have the i7/16GB/512GB/4K version of this in black, got it for £1400 in September. It's a really nice machine. Nice and light, well-built, gorgeous screen, performance has been great (for my needs) and battery life is pretty good, at least with battery saver on which doesn't seem to cripple it too much. It's also mostly silent, which is great as I have used it a lot in lectures/meetings.

Yeah I actually bought this yesterday for around £2k thinking it was a good deal and then saw this reduction today which is an amazing price for this much laptop. So I just bought another one and will send the other one back.

Not going very warm, so people obviously don't know much about laptops. Just see the price and vote cold.

Yeah I got that too along with 5% quidco which got it down to around £1580
Nice, the code appears to work on other models too. Do you need to be a student to be able to use it?

there is a 12% code on the outlet. what's the spec of this as the outlet prices for this model range from £930 (with 1080p 8gb 256gb) to £1350 (with 4k, 32gb 1TB) Does anyone know if the amex offer work on the outlet as well?

I imagine one the reasons the deal is not getting heat is because there’s no information about the laptop in your post apart from the model and price. Would be nice to know what it is your getting for all that money.

If it was from Dell, you can just message them and they usually give you a refund of the difference there and then.
This is a great laptop, perfect size to use in tablet form, take on holiday, etc. I/O is basically two thunderbolt ports, one of which is needed for charging. The only downside was for me to get the 32gb I had to also get the 4k screen, which is a drain on the battery, and not needed for a 13" screen.

A good accessory is the dell DA300.

Could you point me in the right direction for this. I've a Corp Card which I've never actually used. I've just installed the app but can't see anything about discounts valid for me. Could it be as I've never used the card.

Sure. If you log in the app, you will see 5 options across the bottom. One of those is 'offers' and it'll be listed there. If its not it could be as you say you haven't used it, or the type of amex (mine is platinum cashback, so it may vary offers)
Thanks, I think one of the above. If I select offers it says sorry there are no offers available for this card. I think the extra £100 off would have tipped the balance to buying the new XPS 15 4k I've been eyeing up. Maybe I'll wait until they do an AMD version.

I only buy a laptop mainly for use on planes or at the airport so plenty big for me.
