the 1080p screen is imho better that the qhd on a 13in screen size,
windows 10 (still) really struggles with scaling on very high res small screens, and it is especially bad at it if you have a secondary monitor too.
the lower res screen help with battery life it that's important.

Yes, it’s showing £979 before VAT. Total is £1,174.79.
Still not a bad price for the spec but definitely worthwhile updating the price in the deal 🏼

Totally agree. Got excited as I thought at £979 it was a steal and would have ordered it. Sadly the extra £200 has stopped me committing to a purchase.

I'm not a fan of the full HD screen as the trade off with the battery just isn't worth it.

Is the 4k screen really worth it for the 13 inch? I don't think there's a huge difference. For 15 inch then the 4k is def better but at 13 inches I dont think so

I have the 4k screen on the xps 13 and have never had these issues. When working from my home office I use a secondary 4k lg monitor and again no issues at all. Scaling is fine.

Agree the 1080p screen would be better for battery but the crispness of their 4k screen is lovely.

Just my opinion though :-)
The 4k is also a touchscreen panel whereas the Full HD one is not, if that matters to people.
Sorry, didn't spot the VAT+Delivery, sorry folks
I’ve got the QHD and would go FHD next time, rather have the better battery life.

That's what I went for. Got this laptop at a similar price recently, with Ubuntu, and went for the FHD option
Touch is next to useless too
is this still active? cant find it on the website!
found it - its for the older 9360 model so you may want to change the title.

done. I got this price on the current model recently so I assumed it was the same deal.
Always ring up Dell sales. See what they can do with the price. Deal hard. You will get it for much cheaper than this. I have an XPS 15, XPS desktop and XPS 13 and got beyond code prices.

I got at least 15% plus percent off in addition to sales prices. All new items.

Did you just ask them what they could give you?
Yes I just asked what's your best price? And went away to think about it. When they rang back we negotiated more. Within a day or so It was clear that they couldn't go lower so then I would buy.
