Shouldn't be a problem, this isn't touch screen.

They have newest kaby lake 7th gen CPU so it's 9360. By the way, pathetic "upgraded" apple's still have previous skylake 6th gen for 30%+ raise in price

Great specs. The only issue is that it is a DELL

I think this is a different variation - 6th gen QHD model

Hmm, got the 9350 (6th gen CPU) model with 8GB RAM, FHD display, 256GB of storage for £700 on ebay, new. As nice as the 7th gen upgrade is, I'm not sure it's worth £244 extra.

Whilst on topic of XPS, does anyone know if a new XPS 15 is planned for this year? Would love to get one if it has a GTX 1060 in it.

I noticed £100 off XPS from Dell direct at the moment so feel it's imminent but maybe pricing will be much like the MBP in that case the current offering will be better off.

from what I've read the new xps 15 should be imminent since the xps 13 was just updated this month. the prices of the new xps 13 seem comparable to the 6th gen Intel's so would expect the same for the 15's

The Quad Core 7th generation chips will be released months later than the dual core in the XPS 13 so don't expect them until January or later.

Yeah, becasue all Dells are equally good/bad. oO

Damn i just bought a new and sealed 6th gen version with same specs but QHD for £800... was over the moon to get it so cheap and brand new but genuinely think ive missed out on this ffs

The 7th generation is a very minor upgrade except in terms of the GPU having much better features for 4K video decoding and other HTPC duties.

Yeah looks like it, I'm looking for a XPS like system with the GTX 1050/1060 graphics card since it's inferior to the 960m thats included in most of these laptops. Well I don't suspect my old trusty MBP will die for some time still.

I take it you're being sarcastic because you got a far better deal. Where did you get it from?

The Dell Outlet has a 15% code for the 9350 and they do sell brand new ones sometimes as well as refurbs:

Bought from ebay from a user not a company, starting bid was 800 and i was the only bidder. However i wasnt being sarcastic I was just assuming the kaby lake upgrade would have been worth the extr 150

discount code has expired but this same laptop is being listed as £949 now, still a very good deal! wonder if there are more discounts in the run up to black friday end of this month

Am I the only person who wants slim and light 13 inch devices with an ethernet port? When out and about a lot of the time it's much easier to plug in an ethernet cable than get credentials for a companies wi-fi network (if one even exists).

Dell direct price match as well. I'd think better deal on Black Friday will happen.

If you're working with a company that still lets you just walk up and plug in an ethernet and access their network, that company is just inviting trouble.

Best laptop out there. Can be had for a third cheaper from the Dell store or worth hanging out for a Black Friday deal like last year.
