Now before the cold voters get going on this one, it is a good price but it gets better if you upgrade it a bit.

Upgrade the spec to that of the next ecode up and it give quite a saving over that ecode.

Upgrade the cpu to 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo T7500 Processor @ £70.01
The screen to LED 13.3" UltraSharp WXGA (1280x800) White-LED Display (300 nits) with TrueLife add £50.00
The hard drive to 160GB (5400RPM) SATA Hard Drive add £19.99

The cost is now £919 delivered.

If you went for the already configured ecode N11X3303 the same spec would cost £1029 delivered

Looks like Dell have updated there website...Don't think you can use the Business site ecodes on the Home site any more!?

does anyone know if the New deals due this Thurdays?

the led screen is fantastic but the bottom puts out too much heat, cheap plastic instead of magnesium and the keyboard is truly horrendous. I'm so close to selling mine on ebay becauase of this. It'll get worse in the long run too because its just silver painted plastic keys. Such a shame dell didn't wrap whole thing in magnesium and spend more than a pound on the keyboard
