Upgrades to consider:

2048MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x1024] [add £8.51]
3072MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x1024/2x512] [add £14.90]

Logitech™ Cordless Desktop™ MX®3200 (incl Mouse) - UK/Irish (QWERTY) [add £9.98]

Add vat to these prices.

nice find MikeT

If you add the Logitech™ Cordless Desktop™ MX®3200 (incl Mouse) - UK/Irish (QWERTY)

Final price comes up as £570.43 so thats just under £2 for this upgrade

Great deal and this is hot for me

If you want to play anything but very old games with this I suggest that you upgrade the graphics card to the 8800GT.

I think you worded that a bit harshly, perhaps "if you want to play the very latest games without compromise then you will need to upgrade" but it will play most games at reasonable frame rates.

It doesnt really, the XPS range cases are bling compared with the Vostro 200 business range.
The price difference reflects the fact this is a top end machine where the 200 is a mid range one, they really are aimed at different markets.

If you need the quad-core CPU, but not the extra graphics & the 'bling', may I suggest this ]Inspiron 530 for £469 delivered (with 19" monitor).
