Was looking for a decent desktop upgrade and found this, moved a few things around, (to get the price over £799)and added a voucher, (thanks Greyhorse), and i got this price, (theres 4% Quidco to add too). I think its a pretty good price for what you get, (graphics can be either ATI radeon 3870 or NVidia GeForce 9800GT ,for the same price)

I reckon you could build this cheaper, probably by a good hundred quid, and thats with putting branded components in. Not gonna vote cause i havent costed it up, just think cheaper to build.

Why would it be spam?:?

Original post was spammed by me because i put the wrong links in and could not find a way to remove it , (newbie!) I am sorely tempted by this deal, as much as anything because its a buy now pay March 09, (not sure of the terms though). Also it would take me forever to build it myself, searching the parts/putting it together/feeding.clothing the kids and fiancee and then theres the daily grind!:whistling:
Not forgetting the fuel bill its awfull cold in here;-)

Given that you can get a ]very similar system for £600 I'll vote cold too.

I got virtually the same spec., (only 500gb HDD and single dvd drive tho'), for £445 delivered from Dell outlet a few months ago - it's worthwhile keeping an eye out for their discounts and free delivery offers.

Thanks Cheapskate58 thats the sort of feedback i was looking for will keep my eyes open for more mike t postings.

Sorry, cold for me due to other better priced/spec'ed versions of this unit.

too expensive for a pc without a screen!!
i got a pc with a better spec for £700.
it had all same exept:
i got a 19" screen.
ati 4850 graphics card.
700w psu(dell got 375)

All fully built and ready to go.
although it went back cus laptop>pc

If you pick the first dell xps 420 starting at £659.
Add 19" screen
4gb 800mhz ram.
9800gt (+£0.00) just picked as its better.

it comes to 809.00 then add 10% so its £728.10, which its the same as you pc but with a screen.
Although its got 640gb HDD, which i will never fill anyway.

I got this PC for £520 3 months ago, with a soundblaster x-fi as well and logitech extras.

OMG I just bought the same PC with the same specs for £392 from dell outlet.
