Don't forget to also add the additional 5% off code for selected laptops - JTXL12S8??VZ31. Brings price down to £623.97.

I think it's quite a hot deal. These laptops are truly amazing!

The price isnt really that good. I also thought XPS laptops were from the performance or gaming division of dell, I must hae been wrong.

Based on this laptop being £600
Processor - good, RAM - average / poor for premium, hd - average / pretty good

But as its more than £600 the price can also be considered average / poor

yes, but specs is not all. this laptop is all about looks/build quality/reliability.

and adding 1gb of ram will cost you £17.

"Integrated Intel Graphic Media Accelerator X3100" is good for gaming I take it?

XPS is 'premium' rather than gaming although Dell seem to change their mind about which way they want to go with the brand.

This is pretty much the best gaming laptop of its size however the problem with this deal is that if you spec it up to something more reasonable (Just slight upgrades) the prices goes up very quickly, I don't think it's as great a deal as it looks sadly.

Not really, go for the 8400m if you want this machine for gaming.

This really is for those who require a small light Dell notebook, mention gaming in this size and it really starts to cost (£1029+) and thats with a price drop yesterday too.

The above spec with 128MB nVidia GeForce 8400M GS and 6 cell battery (a must have for the graphics card) will cost £731[FONT=arial][SIZE=1]
