Whether or not you guys think this is too much to pay for 1 laptop - I should remind you, with the graphics card (notebookcheck.net/Mob…tml RANKS 6!) and processor combo this has (not to mention RAM, you can't get it this CHEAP. I have done over 20 hours of solid looking around and this is the best gaming laptop/price in UK in my honest opinion right now.

You think so? I can't even find laptops with even single 8800GTX or similar, with a price drop low enough to not go for this atm. Most laptops with somewhat equal specs seem to be way too expensive - I would settle on an XPS 16 HD 4670 if not for its poor design making it prone to heat problem.

Horses fo courses. Where can this spec be got for less?

looks good n shiny to me, just don't have the spare £ at the mo..

Will be out dated in 6 months. Would spend the money on an alienware rather then an xps.

To get this performance on an alienware at the moment - results you to pay quite a bit more than £1350. I think, for the performance you are looking at this (dual SLI 9800GT), nothing really comes close in terms of the price range.

The m17x's don't even start till £1700 and even at its £1700 version, you get a single 260m GTX card, which is weaker then these SLI 9800 gt's.

Just browse through the DELL/Alienware sites now, without these e-codes, they are far more expensive then you got it here.

With 2.5ghz and dual 9800 GT SLI - the machine hardly will become outdated, it will play all current games perfect and I am sure games of the near future well too.

its a beast, alot of money for a beast considering the spec even tho it is every expensive i think its worth it, you might want to state dual graphics in the title mate to catch more peoples attention.

Wow, one expensive laptop

Great price for a v.high spec laptop.

Got to get the 250GB SSD as well - it would be rude not to

This is alot of money to spend on an average spec laptop, that has dual 3 year old graphics cards installed.

If you really need a laptop that can play games and have money to waste, this will do and it is an ok price. However you are wasting your money, buy a much better spec desktop for half the price, don't waste money on SLi or Crossfire graphics cards, which will give only a very small, if any, graphics boost, that will handle any games for alot longer than this laptop, will allow upgrades, and if you really need a laptop aswell, you could buy a non-games playing one and still have change.

I'm not going to vote as if you insist on spending this sort of money (do these people really use this site ?) it is a saving, but ................

Spend £1500 and get 1 year warranty. That's definitely not worth the risk

Guys - looks like it has gone down - valid till 23rd, surely it has to be HOT at this price - considering its specs!?

Whether you think its worth paying this much for a laptop is irrelevant.

I won't be paying more than £20,000 for a car, but if their was a top of the range Ferrari, going for £21,000, even though I wouldn't be buying a car for this much, it still is a hot deal at the end of the day.

I searched everywhere, you can't get these specs on a gaming (desktop replacing) laptop, for this cheap - even if its used/refurbished lol
