I figured this may help someone so here's my first deal

This was the cheapest price I could find from anywhere that would answer the phone and looked reputable for a Delonghi 2kW Dragon 3 Oil filled radiator with thermostat and timer, the same model is £99.95 from Amazon, almost £120 from Currys.

After the OH left the gas CH on for 5 hours and the lounge didn't get above 16c (existing radiator is under specified for a room of it's size even without allowing for the 2m x 1.8m single glazed window and laminate floors over concrete) so we needed something to provide additional heat over the winter. I ordered this and it arrived next day via DPD. Within 20 mins this had the room over at over 20c costing approximately 7p in electric, more importantly it kept the room at that temp only clicking back on for a few minutes as required for the rest of the evening and unlike a convection heater you don't get that uncomfortable dry air feeling.

I know you can get other brands of cheaper oil filled radiators but my last Delonghi Dragon 2 outlasted several of them and came with a 10 year warranty. It was still going strong till someone lost it.

Would be great if the cold voters could post a link to where this model can be had cheaper?
Why is this cold? Looks great, voted hot, for what it's worth.
head added for your 1st deal
Heat added for your effort my friend, and to compensate for those voting cold without reason. Unfair.
Voting Cold cos similar (not the Dragon range whatever that may be?) can be had for about £30!

You're right in so much as you can buy a 2kw oil filled radiator for less but you can't buy this make/model for less. By your logic we should all be voting cold for any iPad deal because a £40 android tablets does a similar job. Either way thanks for the reply's, hope it helps someone out
I have to ask........how do you lose a radiator?

Apparently it was misplaced when a friend who'd borrowed it moved house.
