Does it have temperature control thingy?
My colleague at work bought this for £90 recently. I'm here in stitches trying not to show him this post! Heat added just for that!

I feel his pain.... although also think it's funny
If I paid almost 90 quid for a kettle, not only would it have to pour by itself, it would have to fill up itself too!
90 quid!
The reduced price of £27 (bar a penny) is usually enough to buy any decent kettle. We usually have a new boxed kettle in reserve anyway, bloody unbelievable hard water area here and despite regular cleans still f. up a kettle within 18 mths.

Sainsbury's Home Pyramid Kettle is £35 normally but spotted a discontinued blue one at £15 so grabbed it. Our current kettle. What is good is the pouring, I thought a spout like this would be dreadful, but no - surprise it doesn't drip. At all. Recommended.

Morphy Richards do very similar one but with crapper handle design (on offer in Argos now).

I shall be going for another Sainsbury's Pyramid if I spot a reduction again.

Oh, and has all the advantages of the De'Longhi one, ie boil dry protection etc. I'm still looking for the kettle that hard water doesn't affect. There isn't one!
Still can't get over 90 quid ...for a kettle!
Pyramid kettle Sainsburys (with matching toaster) - kettle gets reduced regularly. I paid just 15 quid!

Argos reduced Morphy Richards (similar looker to Sainsbury's one, but uglier handle.
