Plastic inside, best kettle we've ever had for pouring.
I had one of these. Worst kettle I've owned. Pours to slow, lid is fiddly, it stopped switching off and ended up filling my house with steam. Took it back to John Lewis and swapped it for a Bosch. Much better
What an ugly kettle.
We have this kettle , pours really well . Top quality kettle .
Looks like it belongs back in the 70s...with Dr Who
I bought the matching toaster but didn't like the look of the kettle it looks small and bulky not very nice looking so still looking for a white kettle to match
not very good, lid is very still to get off so you can fill it or you have to dribble it in through the spout.
thankfully now replaced after failing again. Two in 4 years is rubbish.
great kettle, never had any problems with any of it, looks good too.
I agree this kettle is good but I would not recommend the white one as I have it in white and in less than 2 years it is now a dirty yellow colour. I have tried everything including bleach to get the stains out but to no avail. I purchased this kettle for £55 so this price is very good.
Which? verdict - Falls just short of Best Buy standard - 71%

Pros- Boils quickly, switches off promptly, low minimum fill level, effective limescale filter

Cons - Water level isn’t easy to read, hard to clean inside
I would recommend this kettle for the price. I am onto my 2nd one as the silver sheath round the bottom broke off after 6 months. Paid £60 at the time so was a bit pd off but Replaced without issue but can see this one also going the same way.
Pours nice and quick at boiling.
