Hot!!
So hot but seems to be so cold
Voted hot, but it's £99 pretty all day long. It's still a very expensive 2kw oil filled rad with mech timer unless it's considered a thing of beauty.
Really good heater, as cost efficient as any of these things --- why the cold votes? Seems very strange to me. Good price too.

Don't get hung up on cost efficiency of electric heaters, they are all as efficient as each other. You only pay for looks, accuracy of thermostat and timer.
I love these turn the heater on even if needed a few days .
Anybody out there starts hearing grumbling noises from your boiler and then it cease to work .You contact your British Gas Cover to find out first call out is days away please check your condensate pipe this is used by modern boilers and allows a small trickle of water to escape when in use this can freeze if its outside causing your boiler to stop working . Check YouTube Worcester have a video this may not be the cause but is certainly worth a look

Mine did this today, engineer didn't fix it...said it would just freeze again, so he disconnected the pipe and the water is now going into a bucket.

Cost to run one of these at full whack without thermostat kicking in is £6.50 for 24 hours with standard price electricity. So you need to use it sparingly or for one radiator it could cost £200 per month

Thanks. Watered mine. Awaiting miracle. In this weather, might freeze again very easily but let's see how lucky I am.
Try lagging the pipe if you can

Check the outside of your house. It is a pipe that comes out through the wall from the back/bottom of you boiler. Mine is white PVC and positioned almost exactly as in the YouTube video.

The problem is the boiler is in the kitchen on an internal wall (utility room is behind it). The flue is on the roof above the kitchen due to it being an extended part of the house. I will go home and have a look, didn't stay overnight due to it being so cold!
Why is this so cold looks a decent price
