Recently bought this coffee machine, and I got it for £89.99 and thought it was a very good bargain, as the RRP at Curry's is £149. So at £69 this is an even better bargain!
Great xmas present for your other half!

(Priced a lot higher on Amazon one at £172)

I t this two years ago from Amazon. brilliant machine. takes time to make a good coffee but it's worth it! bargain at this price

I have this. It is awesome but you need a tamper, milk jug, thermometer and coffee glasses

I've got this, had it a couple of years now and use it daily. I absolutely love it. Coffee nice and hot. Fabulous. I paid over £100 for mine so this is an excellent price. Go for it.

Have this too and its good, still doesnt make the coffe hot enough for me though, I havent seen a home machine that does. Good price.

I also bought it at 89.99 recently and am very happy with it.
The 3-yr extra warranty is worth thinking about for this sort of small appliance.

I've had this or a very similar model for four years and it still works brilliantly. It takes a little time - you have to run water through it twice to get it hot enough before you can run the coffee - but it does produce a great shot of coffee. My favourite pick-me-up from it is mixing the coffee with cocoa powder, white chocolate monin syrup, normal chocolate monin syrup, steamed milk and squirty cream.

Any idea what the difference is between this and the EC220? (Other than colour and a fiver)

I think I'll stay with my stove top coffee maker a lovely mug of hot coffee everytime in four mins that makes enough for four mugs mmmmm

Coffee glasses? I thought for a minute you had to wear special glasses!

I've got this and it works very well.
in regards to the comment about the coffee not being hot enough I found you need to warm you cup under the hot tap first and then when the green light goes out, stop pouring and wait for it to come back in.

love this on a Saturday and Sunday morning

Do you warm your coffee mug beforehand? I normally pour some hot water from the tap into the mug and then leave it for a couple of minutes whilst I froth my milk. By the time I'm done the mug seems nice and warm, and seems to result in the coffee maintaining it's temperature for longer.

On weekends it's beer glasses

I'm about to buy my first coffee machine, but I am unsure what is the difference between different models. For instance Delonghi EC145 - looks like it's only got a different look but same features and it's 25 quid cheaper as well. Am I right?

I bought one of these a couple of days ago and am very impressed with it. So impressed that I posted it here as a deal then spotted that it had already been posted here.

This machine makes great coffee and I had never even used one before using this. Bought some bags of Costa Espresso ground coffee for £1.99 in B&M and the coffee produced with it by this machine is every bit as good as you get in a costa coffee house.

Just need to get myself a grinder and start buying beans.

This is still on offer at my local curry's in Exeter! Thanks! Great buy. This is the second one I buy, great machine.

a great machine indeed. mine was used from a well known auction site for the grand sum of 3 quid!
make sure you buy espresso ground coffee otherwise you'll be disappointed.
+1 for buying a grinder. nothing like freshly ground!

I agree about the thermometer by you can get away with it all the rest if you've already got cups and a jug (t least in the short term). There is a tamper of sorts incorporated into the machine (the black disk on the left hand side).
