We have a very similar version of this used as a work coffee machine - 10-12 cups a day every day or more if guests. Never missed a beat in over 2 years
We’ve got the cappuccino version and it’s fantastic! Had it for over two years now.
Even tastes great with the cheap coffee beans from Lidl 🏼
Worth paying the extra £50 for the milk frother. Had mine 3 years and paid the same. Been fantastic
Amazing machine well worth it. Heat added.

Doesn't this come with a milk frother?

They don’t store ground coffee, they store beans that they then ground when needed

Yes but some of us want to be able to press a button and get a decent coffee. I would only put in the beans required as opposed to filling it.
Yes some prefer to grind their own beans and the theatre that comes with making a coffee, but for me I want to be able to press a button and get a cappuccino without any faff.

You cannot buy a bean grinder anywhere near that price level for espresso grinding

Almost 8k coffees on a similar model...one of the best and most used kitchen items we've bought. Paired with Amazon's coffee beans @ 2kg for around 9 quid, it's well worth it. Def recommend.

Is that not a milk frother attached to it??????
Does anyone know the difference between this one and the Dinamica?

You can put ground coffee in this as well as beans

This one does have a milk frother like the machines in costa etc, the one that’s 40 quid more is the type that has a little milk tank and does it for you (rather than holding a jug up to the frother). I used to have a nespresso with a milk tank and it was quite faffy having to top it up, remembering to put it in the fridge after using it, regularly cleaning it out etc.

I own two coffee shops and have been working in the coffee industry for nearly 20 years so go ahead and post your links, I could do with a laugh.

Yep. That provided the entertainment needed. Two of those aren't even a burr grinder. You don't know the first thing about making espresso.

They do 2 models of this, 1 with a frother and this one without. Usual sale price is £299 or £349 with frother. Has been for years

You haven't got the first clue about making coffee dude, I'd give it a rest if I were you, you're embarrassing yourself.

It's got nothing to do with industry standards. You've linked f'ing spice grinders thinking they're suitable for grinding coffee! They will ruin any coffee bean you put in them, not even suitable for filter coffee, let alone espresso.

Again, you're clueless. Leave the recommendations to people who know what they're talking about.
Can I ask, will the milk frother nozzle and milk frothing tank provide the same consistency or foam/froth?
And how does it compare to this? ...

They specified a grinder for espresso. Most grinders that even have a setting for espresso are >£100, and many that claim to do espresso are stretching the truth a bit (inconsistent and/or too coarse). You're both talking about separate issues but the other poster has a point as this machine can grid for espresso and that function isn't easily replaced.

Nor me either. You seem to be confused. I never stated you couldn't buy a coffee grinder for under £25. And yes the grinder on this machine is at least a burr grinder so it would have to be for espresso but then I wouldn't expect you to understand that.
Probably a silly question but I've watched the video and it mentions cappuccino system. So does this make lattes etc also ??

Yes it does. I have this model and to make a latte, you just lift the little ring on the milk frother up.
I have a very similar machine to this and for those people who are asking if there is a milk frother YES! it has a frother and you can make cappuccinos lattes and what so ever. Just put the milk jug under the frother and its done just like costa and starbucks. Look at the YouTube videos if confused. I love my coffee machine using it for 2 years now.
I posted this exact machine at currys as a deal over 2 years ago at almost the same price and it went cold! Funny how times have changed. Machine still going strong though 😁.

Not sure but I have the milk tank and it's great. Lots of creamy froth produced from it
Had one of these, the selection dial is awful, mate had the same problem, went with a better model

That's if you use the filters. We don't have hard water and don't use them. Only maintenance is cleaning the grounds bin and descale when it tells us to - think we've done it about five times or so!!
Thanks OP. Purchased this machine today and pretty happy with it. Great tasting coffee and that's with the stuff on offer at Asda.

Signed up to a coffee club to hopefully get a few tastes of different stuff and arrive on one I like.

The steam wand is a bit of a faff. I can't use just a normal 500ml jug as the spout is too short so ordered a stainless one on Amazon for about a fiver.

I do think the RRP is over inflated but at this price I'm happy. Looks a quality product on the worktop.
I bought it, I do not recommend
- the coffee is too cold
- the taste is average (I think coffee still smells of plastic)
- most of the elements are plastic
- metal parts are two and of very poor quality, already after two weeks scratched from a cup
- frothed milk is cold

Milk can't be heated over a certain temp or it will spoil.
But I agree this isn't the best machine
Is there a water temp adjustment option on this? I have a similar model and you can change the water temp in the menu. Taste can vary depending on beans being used and grind setting.
