But no doubt you’re fine with paying Starbucks £3.50 for a coffee! Saved a fortune since I’ve had a good machine at home and avoided buying a morning coffee on the road.

I use my bean to cup every day and i've done so for the past 8 years or so. 1kg of beans at around £12 lasts about 6 weeks so thats £2 a week and I get to make my coffee just how I like it. If you get one that is likely to last and enjoy coffee then its something you'll enjoy.

I bought this on Friday. Makes excellent cappuccino.
Are these worth it?
Are these any good for making hot chocolate like they do in Cafe Nero?

I love Nescafe Gold blend but bought a Delonghi ESAM2800 bean to cup machine some time sgo. I wished I could find beans that tasted like the instant I like. I've tried allsorts of beans but end up having to put a teaspoon of Gold Blend in the cup when the freshly ground beans are ground and the coffee is made.Think I've wasted my money unless anyone can recommend a particular coffee bean to use.

"Gold Blend" ... I suspect it's their own secret blend, i.e. not just one bean type. I don't think anyone can reproduce their taste.

I have a delonghi bean to cup and whilst it’s perfect for home use, You might struggle a tiny bit upkeep wise with a domestic bean to cup machine like this, I mean in the sense that you typically only get 5-10 drinks worth before having to refill the water, 10ish drinks worth before emptying the grinds container so you’ll need a member of staff keeping an eye on it.
The commercial machines can obviously go a lot longer before refilling and emptying which might suit your needs better, but are a lot more money.
Side note - These delonghi domestic machines are very reliable though so you should have no problems in that regards.

Great machines/taste but recently we had a De’Longhi bean to cup for two months, followed descaling programme and regularly cleaned and despite this water poured down inside machine ruining worktop. De’Longhi Uk customer service non existent, we contacted them and got reply about a month later apologising for lack of staff fortunately we managed to get a fullrefund from where we bought it just a word of caution.

Tasteless, horrible texture, crap that only a blind person without Taste buds could believe is chicken/pork/etc Yet you’re happy to waste your money on it. Why

Have to concur with that
Had similar issues with my first machine. They just kept returning it saying they couldn’t replicate the fault. I even took videos etc showing the problem.
I was returning to JL each time, as didn’t want to ship from home. On last occasion, I just opened the package and showed JL agent th state of the machine. Grounds everywhere, water Staines, essentially exactly what I’d described. So they had managed to replicate and just lied, but couldn’t even be bothered to clean it up to hide the fact.
All credit to JL who gave me a full refund immediately, for a 2 year old machine. Next one (manual frothier version of this machine) has been going strong for almost 8 years. (Hopefully don’t jinx myself). But I’d buy with CC and from a decent retailer just in case.
Does anyone know if this machine can makeep latte?

Based on this and your earlier comments, perhaps a coffee machine isn’t for you then...teapots are much cheaper!
