Are these any good ?
I had one and they are very reliable. A bit of a pain in comparison to pods as you do need to spend a little time being your own barista and foaming your milk. But for the price it's great.
Good price - got mine a year ago or so for £77. Easy to use - I use the ESE pods more than ground coffee as don't have to tamp etc (quicker, less mess). The milk frother is good too. Would recommend.

These machines are so so so much better than nespresso, tasimo etc. You can use ese pods which you can just pop in, or use ground coffee and tamper the coffee down, or buy while beans and spend £15-20 on a grinder. Great machines.

I have one for 3-4 years, it makes better coffee than pret/starbucks etc. two coffee takes 2 minutes. bought it for 45 refurb. Still I think it worth a hundred. Or if u swap from buying coffee to making coffee you'll get back the price in a month.
These are basically electrical moka pots- complete waste of money. To get a proper espresso machine you’re looking at £300-400 minimum.

Well its doing a job which is coffee for less than £70. You can drive a car for £200 pounds or you can drive one for 20k. Again both doing a job and driving. If somebody wants a coffee maker for £70 its his choice. Not everybody looking for coffe machine for £400 you know. Spare comments like rhis for your self.

True, I’m saying save the money and get a moka pot. Same outcome but cheaper. I’d say it’s closer to an espresso than whatever comes out of one of these.
