great thanks missed it last time was this price

don't buy!! I have had for a year or so and the milk container is a nightmare to clean. has lots of different parts etc.way better to buy a separate milk warmer

Cheers op, ordered. Been after one of these for a while but kept missing out...

remember you can get this machine for free if you agree to deposit £45 a month into your Nespresso account for a year (i.e. you agree to spend £540 on Nespresso within 3 years)

Looking at the Waitrose website the photo is for the Lattissima Touch and the model number is for the Touch De'Longhi EN550 Latissima Nespresso black coffee maker. So If this is the case very good price, hope thats what comes.

I disagree, I find it easier when making more than one cup of coffee. The container can be stored in the fridge for a day or two when it has milk in it. There are 4/5 parts that need to be washed when it is time to be cleaned. I also have an Aerocinno and I find that more faff as it needs to be washed after every use.

EN550 is Lattissima Touch

Also - you no longer get the free £75 worth of nespresso with this

Totally agree, I have both and the lattissima is far easier to use.

I agree. Buy a machine such as Inissia with a separate Aeroccino. That's assuming you want to be able to froth milk - if you don't, forget the Aeroccino and just use the microwave to warm milk in a cup before adding a shot of coffee..

It only takes moments to wash it, though, especially if you do it straight after use.
Also, if you have separate coffee and milk machines, you only need to replace one of them, should a fault develop.
I do agree, though, that if you're going to make a lot of milky drinks the Latissima is worth considering. Me, I'd consider it and then reject it!

But the saving in buying a Nespresso machine will keep you in pods for ages. Inissia with Aeroccino was available from Amazon for £65 last month. And I bet most Nespresso machines are far more reliable than most espresso and bean-to-cup machines. I never managed to keep an espresso machine going for much longer than a couple of years but my oldest Nespresso machine, used daily, is still working perfectly after 5 years. They take up far less space too, and less maintenance.

Nespresso pods are made of aluminium and hence recyclable (third-party pods are usually plastic but I've yet to find one that produces coffee as good as Nespresso originals).

the packaging/coffee ratio for nespresso is terrible - I bet the majority of used capsules end up in landfill. Recycling them is just more wasted energy.

Nonsense, I have the same machine, takes about a minute for me to dismantle and wash it up. It's also dishwasher safe for people who have those.

I agree, 5 parts. Takes all of 20 seconds to disassemble and assemble again. Give them a clean a couple of times a week .
No hassle at all.

Agree - keeping this machine clean and working is a doddle; we love ours!

The milk frother on this is great on this. All the parts are dishwasher safe. With the aeroccino you can only make 2 cappuccinos they you need to start again. Top this up and it keeps going.

Very easy to clean the milk container, just chuck it in the dishwasher. Buy an additional one for twenty quid off eBay, and no faffing required ever.

All colours OOS

We have the Latissimus and while it can take about 4 cups worth of milk (with our preferred volume), we usually wash it every time. It's quick to use the clean button then disassemble. A rinse under the tap seems to do the job, but it does go in the dishwasher at least once a week.

My parents have an aeroccino and it does benefit from a wipe rather than just a rinse, though the non stick is still good.

Now the aeroccino in the office I can't be bothered with anymore. Plenty there only swill it under the tap, then the residual milk gets burned on next use. Or the last person on a Friday does a quick rinse then it stinks by Monday.

It's brilliant to clean. You can keep it in the fridge form a couple of days and then just put the parts in the dishwasher. So much easier than the Nespresso milk frother that needs to be cleaned after each use. and you can't leave for more than a second without getting burnt bits stuck to the bottom. Bought this when it was £99 with £75 of Nespresso Club credit and we wouldn't go back to our beloved Pixie. Heat from me.

The machine is great but after a week I went back to non milk versions, yes the milk part is a doddle to clean just the novelty wore off

Not sure how something 2.4 times as much has any relevance

Not sure how something 2.4 times as much has any relevance

Because if you're willing to spend this much, you're probably willing to spend twice as much for something better and more versatile. I personally have bought one of these nespresso machines and I actually bought this exact same coffee machine this person linked last week.

I found this coffee machine to be way better and much cheaper when you're not buying capsules, the refillable ones don't work well either. I'm spending a quarter of the price per month, just how much of a rip off the capsules are.

It's really hard and tiring to put in a dishwasher I normally have an 8hr sleep after I do that.

Yep. Great way of getting the machine. Credit rolls over for 2 years too.i tend to use the 45 each month though....

Same, I had the aeroccino and the stand alone nespresso machine before getting the lattissima and the lattissima has been in regular use every day since buying. I clean the milk pot every other day and it's fine. Less faff than the separate machines.

my point being. we have it in our office and no-one bothers to clean it as there is always a bit left so no-one wants to pour it out and then clean. by the time someone gets round to it the milk has congealed in all difficult to reach places. great machine. juts be aware
