Got this machine from Argos for this price in early January. It's since gone up to £249.

Great machine, I use mine about half a dozen times a day.

Agreed! It does the exact same as the more expensive machines. Only difference I can say I've noticed is that this machine is noisier. Same great coffee at a much cheaper price for a wee bit of noise is well worth it. Buy it.

Besides being less labour intensive. How do you do cappuccino on this for example?! As that's not something we do with the above method

I haven't looked at this particular model in detail but it looks like a steam wand on the side to steam/froth the milk.
