I guess you cannot pre-grind the beans the night before and that the machine is fairly loud while grinding (you can't really help that, can you), am I correct? If so, might be hard to get a cup first thing in the morning when the rest of the family is still asleep?
No you can't pre grind the beans unfortunately.
It will soon be cheaper to buy a coffee shop rather than a coffee machine !

You can use ground coffee as well as beans with this machine.

Can you? Is there a separate container? Or does it mean I'd need to take out all the beans and put ground coffee in the container instead - that's a lot of fuss for a single cup in the morning.

Double Check yourself, but, usually there is a flap with a chute into which you can put a measure of ground coffee, no more than I cup at a time, and you have to change some setting on machine, quite simple no delving into menus etc.

I just got this machine. You need to open the lid where the beans are and you can find another little lid with a hole for the ground coffee. Super easy to use.

This machine does a really good coffee in a minute. Totally worth it!

Hard life when bean grinding is a concern ey? You've clearly failed to purchase a property with thick enough walls - or already have concerns you should address openly

Myne still going strong after couple years

Always descale twice with citric acid

What’s wrong with not wanting to wake up your beloved ones when you have to get up earlier than they do?

And I wish I could afford more than a shed down south. Unfortunately, only renting atm.
