I really don't get why they don't do long spouts so you can place a jug on the tray whilst it froths like they do in the likes of Starbucks and Costa...

Because this is £300 not £15k.

The longer the spout the higher the pressure required to froth the milk.
I don't know why this is cold, this is a good price. Just curious why people voted cold as I was going to buy this.
Because people are sheep....This is a good deal.
This is a good price.

The podiots always vote these deals down, they're too invested in poddery …The podiots always vote these deals down, they're too invested in poddery and can't bear to admit their mistake.Rather like the brexit-voters can't face that they too have been manipulated by sophisticated marketers. They would much rather suffer the consequences of a poor choice than admit that others were, and are, wiser.A hot vote from this wise one.

I've not voted either way, and it depends on personal taste, but espresso - especially from a relatively cheap machine arguably doesn't make great coffee.

You can arguably make much better coffee using a £6 plastic hario v60, paper filter, and a decent ground coffee - or better yet freshly ground using a burr grinder.

Can upgrade to a glass v60 if you feel so inclined.

Arguably healthier too as it filters out the volatile oils which can raise your cholesterol.

You have more control over the flavour, it takes more skill, and it's like a ritual.

I like to press a button, it takes less time, and no skill, it's like magic!

I used to think the same but recently seen a couple on the market at around £300. I think it was nespresso
