Me too, we hardly ever need it, but now and again this is the best way to cook certain things.

great find

great for making home made chips, though make sure you don't try to do that when you get in after a night on the beer - these things go up in flames all too easily

good find

Avoid this kind of design, after 2 months use, you have a sticky dry oily mess forming on the inside off the bowl - try scrubbing it and you'll scratch off the non-stick coating.

Buy the square chrome ones, ike this one - (that have a removable enamel bowl) that you can 'properly' clean.

my wife uses a grill...unlike 99%of this country she can cook very well...much nicer and healthier

I've never seen the point of a deep fat fryer, unless you use it exclusively for chips. After fish, chicken or anything really, has been cooked in one the oil goes horrible - and contaminates everything else cooked subsequently. I'll stick to oil-free cooking, I've not used any in 10 years.

Got it today.

Real chips ................. BRILLIANT!
