Rant over.

Cheaper than that £700 one that was posted a few months ago. ;-)

Heh - well that £700 was the RRP - was less with the deal (that ended up quite hot :P) Still enjoying ontap espresso from that one - this is good for a desktop/office machine though

Yeah it was a good deal that from what I remember. A bit out of most people's leagues but certainly worth it if you're a coffee lover and have the money mind!

Thank you

was under £20 at argos a while ago

Thanks - I just needed one and ordered this. The other poster might be correct about Argos having this for less than £20 but I'd be surprised - I wonder if he is not mixing up with some of De Longhi's lower end models (ICM30 or ICM2B), which have poorer built quality and which I dont believe have timers etc.

Argos def had it for less than £20 recently, same model. Google search brings it up but I'm sure it was several months ago. Infact Amazon had it for exactly £20 at one point.

Regardless seems like a good machine and tempted myself.

I stand corrected...! Still £26.71 seems very good compared to what you can get it for elsewhere today - it looks like the £20 offer was available only 10 months ago or so (probably back when the UK Pound had not yet acquired its monkey currency status..).
