This is a very beautiful machine. Not the best espresso but still very very beautiful.
I can't fault this machine, it makes great espresso when you get used to it. I've had mine for five years and as long as the filters are cleaned annually it's been trouble free. I've seen it cheaper but this is not a bad price.

I've just got and had it for past 3 months and it's great, not sure about the maintenance side of things, where can I read up about it?
Might be a silly question but does this also dispense hot water for tea?
I have the Scultura version of these De'longhi machines, which are all near identical, think some have better steam wands than others though. I got mine for £43 open box from the Amazon Warehouse, fantastic little machine.

This should really be, 'you can make...' you make an espresso by putting the coffee in etc, you get a latte by steaming some milk in a jug and adding it to your espresso etc, 'you can choose' sounds like you just press a button and off it goes.
If you want to turn beans into coffee with this machine I would recommend :

KRUPS coffee grinder (about £15).
51mm stainless steal tamper.
espresso glass measure with lines (looks like a shot glass), mainly because there is very little room underneath the machins, so big cups don't fit and it's very hard to judge how much water you are actually putting through the machine.
500ml stainless jug with thermometer.

A cheap jug will do, you could soe d more and get a burr coffee grinder, tamper are cheap enough, but the one which comes with the machine is rubbish, measure glasses are dirt cheap. This machine is 25% the price of a Sage machine but gives you coffees which are so so close, both are far far better than a nespresso or tasimo.

It can do, you fill the back with water, press the tip button, wait for the middle button to light and then press the middle button. I have done it before, but I'm sure I've read somewhere that the boilers shouldn't be on for very long, and making a tea (maybe 200-250ml) requires the boiler to be on for far longer than it would be when making an espresso (40ml single 80ml double).

The water is boiled far quicker than most kettles, but the boiler takes a fair bit of time to dispense 200ml of water.

Yes it does dispense hot water but to be honest I’d not buy it specifically for this purpose.
We use the coffee bags in this machine, maybe cause it’s less mess and clart on.

Re:maintenance, there's a metal filter held by a crosspoint screw under the dispensing head, you have to lever it out from the rubber seal. There is another in the receptacle where you place the coffee, both can be cleaned with a stiff brush (tooth brush) and detergent. Depending on use this will only need doing annually or if you notice a reduced flow. I second the use of a burr grinder.
