This may not be everyone's cup of tea ... sorry.... but it's usually around the £250+ mark. Direct from Amazon.

It was 208 quid the other day.

Solid machine, I have one making 8 espressos a day for the past 18 months. Not skipped a beat. Will by another when under 200 as a backup.
We bought one of these (for slightly less than this price).
The problem we have is that we have gone from a single cup (each) in the morning from the cafetiere to four or five a day from this bloody thing.
Heat added.

£208 direct from Amazon? I'm looking at the price history trying to find it, or do you mean from somewhere else? Cheapest I can see it on Amazon was just under £200 over Black Friday.

Well that's boosted my confidence anyway, thanks! Although I'm not sure I need another addiction

Yep, from Amazon, I have it sat in my save for later basket... Ready to jump and see the price fluctuations.

Co-op also gave had great prices on them.

Strange, it's not coming up on the price tracker I use (maybe it fluctuated before they checked on the day), but it could be many months before it dips that low again.
These frequently come up on Warehouse Deals offering a very significant saving. We snagged a Like New for 147 a couple of months ago and it was brand New unopened return.

I have the 2800 - it's functionally the same as the OP's machine, I believe. Just looks different.
Has anyone worked out the cost per cup approximately for an espresso with one of these.
Using Nespresso for a while now and while it’s convenient it’s also very expensive, get through at least 10 to 20 capsules a day.

This machine works out at 10-15p per cup depending on what you make. I got that info from a coffee machine review site. I've been looking at this machine for a few weeks now and it's been this price on Amazon since I've been looking. It's reviewed as one of the best home bean to cup machines.

Thanks for the info, that’s between a third and 50% of the Nespresso capsules then
hope this machine is as good as comments and reviews - just bought from amazon warehouse deal with 20% off for £148 - very good condition
