That’s where you’re wrong. Coffee should not be served at boiling temperature, this is a misconception a lot of people have from years of using boiling water from a kettle to make instant coffee.

Generally considered the best Bean to Cup machine for anywhere close to this kind of budget.

Loads still available.

Apologies, I looked at only the first screen, assuming they were sorted into ascending price order.
I got one of these just with a damaged box in the early hours this morning, great deal at this price.
I got one at £165 the other day and then got this today and returning the £165. Asked Amazon first on chat if they can do anything but said there's no process for that just got to return and buy cheaper.

Cracking price! Might check both that I receive and return the worst one lol
Great value, heat added 🏻

Great price just not the colour I am after
I currently use an aeropress which is great but considering one of these. Just worry about cleaning as I only use it at weekends. Guessing they are best if used regularly

I paid £229 a year a go for this machine and I like it, it's a bargain @ this imo.
Bean to cup at this price WOW

What’s the warranty like is it still a year ?
I bought this machine last year for twice the price . It does make very good coffee but I'd recommend getting a separate frother as the wand is a little too short and it's a pain to clean if used regularly. There are some horror stories from other users about the ground coffee drawer but I've only used whole beans so I've had no problems myself.
Any recommendations on the best place to buy coffee beans to use in the machine?

Yes fab machine, this replaced my £900 Jura ... I paid about £150 ish few years ago as damaged box. Brilliant machine as I like my coffee strong this does a perfect job.
Having just purchased one from Amazon, I was just about to ask the same question as fossman above!

I wouldn't mind knowing either as this is my first bean to cup - apparently it's worth getting some cheap ones to start with whilst you fiddle about with the volume/strength settings though to get it how you like.
love this machine, such a good cup of coffee out of it

The reviews on Amazon point me towards the Lavazza beans £10 for 1kg.
Impulse buy - grabbed a 'like new' one. First bean2cup having use Aeropress for many years. Hope I don't regret it! Have some heat
I've never bought stuff like this on Amazon before, is the returns procedure the same if it sucks?

Yeah, if you don’t like the look of it, simply return it

Would also be interested to hear if it is ok for infrequent use, maybe 3 cups a t the weekend, if beans keep when ungrounded?

...and that's how we have them here to buy in the first place...it's the Amazon circle of life.
owned mine now for over a year. use it literally all day....great machine for the price for sure.

only negative from me is that I like my coffee boiling hot, which this machine does not do...its hot for sure, but not as hot as I would like it, so tend to nuke my coffee for 30 secs to make it hotter....dont let this put you off though, especially at this price.

Reference the comments over beans....yes amazon sell bulk bags. I tend to stock up when Waitrose have offers like a week ago, but the coffee beans in lidl and aldo is pretty decent as well.

Can you not change the temperature? Saw a post suggesting some way you can select from 4 heat modes...

"With the machine in standby/off mode, press and hold the One cup button until the row of lights come on below. You should see the default of 2 lights is showing. Now press the two cup button repeatedly to select your desired setting out of a possible 4 settings. When set, press the 1 cup button again to save your setting, and the machine will go back to off"

If this isn't the case may have to evaluate that when it arrives if it's as cool as others have said.

Fresh roasted beans are best from 1 week to 4 weeks of age and get slightly worse after that as time goes on. But personally had beans for a few months and taste the same to me.

All the fresh beans I have ever bought come in an airtight bag you can reseal so I just keep it in them, but any airtight container will do.

If it’s a personal preference, fair enough, that’s just not how it read.

You’ll never get boiling from a bean to cup machine. I haven’t come across one yet.

I did find a post suggesting you can very the temperature in a non-disclosed "hack" way...this is yet to be substantiated mind.

Have you tried heating your cup up with boiling/hot water before you make the coffee?
It is suprising what a difference in temperature can be caused by a cold cup and spoon
