In store in Tesco Brooklands but may be national. They had about 10 piled up on sale, reduced from £424.00 to £199.00. Excellent Espresso/Cappuccino machine with great reviews

Will check Tesco tomorrow but suspect I'm just going to be chasing the goose

None in Chichester

I have one of these, very pleased with it

cracking machine although I wish I could make the water hotter?? any ideas people?

fantastic machine if you can find one, and at 199, a bargain.
These things pay for themselves quite quickly. 1gb of coffee costs about 10 quid, it will make about 150 -200 cups depending on the strength. pods cost anything from 20p to 40p per cup

I have one of these, you can make the coffee warmer by heating the mug/cup first - using the water it flushes through when you turn it on to pre warm it. Also, leave it on a few minutes before you use to heat the boiler better.
How are you using this? Ideally you need to make espresso shots and add hot water (for a long black or milk for latte/cappuccino) either from the hot water spout or using a kettle. Using the machine to extract a long coffee directly will result in bitter coffee and not so warm either.

Overall, this is a great machine which makes reliable espresso, latte, cappuccino every single time. Good at this price!

I didn't know that. I prefer Americano type coffee and have always just let the water run through. Going to try the kettle method tomorrow, so thanks for the tip!

agree this is a great machine its a pain to microwave your coffee for 30 seconds which you shouldnt have to do -i was hoping there would be a dial to tweak to increase the heat

Bought one a couple of weeks ago from amazon. Was an upgrade from my tassimo, which I find leaves a metallic taste with some pod varieties. Great machine for the money and very happy with it.

I have one if these. Brilliant coffee. Quick as instant

The Saeco from John Lewis is probably a better deal at £175. Not knocking DeLonghis as I have 1 of their Instanta models.

I believe this one can also take Coffee Grounds, where the Saeco cannot (no bypass) so that might be the deciding factor.

If it was a choice between this and the Seaco, I'd spend the extra £25 and get the Delonghi. I paid £30 more for it 3 years ago and at about 6 mugs a day its still going strong. One of the best value for money things I ever bought.

p.s. Just to confirm, it does also take ground coffee.

I hadn't noticed that, it wouldn't bother me, but I can see how it could be important for others. Apart from the price the Saeco has a ceramic grinder, and I do wonder if that would give longer life. I used to have a Krups B2C, it was a great machine but the grinder was shot after 2 years. However the grinder on my Delonghi is still going well after nearly 18,000 coffees.

Lightweight My Intensa is just over 3 years old and has nearly 18,000 coffees on the clock - good as new. They are excellent machines.

If your getting warm coffee and hot coffee then probably one of the heating element has blown. There are two heating elements on the as 'Delonghi call it Generator or Thermoblock'. If it's under warranty get it replaced or fixed. If not link to replacement part below.
