nope i dont work there, i have one on my doorstep which i goto every 2nd day and provide deals for the community. Your just bitter as i wont go and get you one that you asked.

people like you stop deals getting posted on these sites.

Just ungrateful

Back on topic.....

What is the difference between coffee from one of these and a drip/filter machine?
Assume you can water an expresso down to make something similar to a filter coffee?
Thanks

I ummed and ahed for ages then went with the Delonghi. Both seem to be around the same RRP despite the SEL, and available elsewhere for about the same price as each other (Philips is £80 at John Lewis).

I'm using this as a replacement for one of the Tassimo machines that was a deal on here previously. The Tassimo discs just cost way too much to use on a regular basis, though the only thing putting me off a machine like this is the need to clean and fiddle around. I might see if any of the pod things from Lidl fit this machine.

Will hopefully find out how fiddly it is to use with the first brew tomorrow morning.

thanks for that, i like the look/colour of the Philips more, but obviously needs to make good coffee too!
Dont know if my tesco will have either left tonight anyway, and still dont know whether to just go for a drip/filter machine rather than something like this... procrastinating as usual

How did you get on with this machine?
Cheers

Only used a couple of times as yet. The biggest annoyance is you have to turn the handle which holds the coffee quite tight, and to achieve this you have to hold the machine itself to prevent it turning. Have to remove the drip tray to fit my big cup under to make a latte. But I guess those are both issues that will be the same on all machines in this price range.

For the price paid I am reasonably pleased with it Definitely produces nicer coffee than the Tassimo.

Got one yesterday in tesco extra in Walsall. Still two left when I purchased one.

Great price as a quick google shows them at least double the price.

It's a good machine and you can make a good quality coffee with it.

No more need to keep buying costa in the train station.
