Delonghi Pasta Cooker

The DELONGHI pasta cooker boasts al dente pasta at the press of a button. Just fill the bowl with water, add salt, and place the pasta in the basket. The pasta is automatically lowered into the water when it boils, stirred to prevent sticking, and finally, drained when cooked. There’s also a sauce-warmer which ensures that a hot sauce will be ready when the pasta is cooked.

The main advantage of the pasta cooker over a regular saucepan is that it automatically lowers the pasta into the boiling water and drains it when finished — so you can set and forget.

This was on a while back at same price, I bought one then. Hasn't seen a huge amount of use though.
It's also cheaper instore at woolworths (£15.99) and if you have one the MEGA stores that replaced Cutprice have it for £12.99.

Seems a lot of fuss to cook pasta:?

Pan+boiling water+oil+10 mins=pasta:thumbsup:

There are uses mucky - this you can put cold water and pasta in, and cold sauce, set it to be ready at the exact time you want. I'v used it to have hot dinner on table 30 seconds after I get home. Far easier than cooking after a long day.

No need for it personally (if I want to do pasta, I'll do it on the hob of the electric cooker), but £149 seems a ridiculous RRP for it.

A fantastic reduction if the RRP wasn't a total work of fantasy!!?!?
Just put a f##kin' pan on the stove....it's not difficult or that time consuming at any time of day!!!

Well I think it's a good deal for those that want one, hence my reason for posting

If people don't want one then even priced at 1p with free delivery it wouldn't be a good deal!

I'm amazed that people don't post the deals with the lower prices, since they know about them why use this site yet keep good deals (for some) to themselves? :whistling:

*(Whether they wanted one or not, I bet a lot would order them if they were posted on the freebies board)*
