Been keeping tabs on this coffee machine as I think I may go for this model. Has great reviews and this is a great price, nornammly arround the £350-400 region.

Anyway, best price ever according to 3 Camels.

Right, off to make a brew in my trusty old caffetiere.

Thanks for sharing - i've added a picture to your listing.

This is a great machines. There is only one left so if you want one, you need to get in quick.

Own this machine for 4 years now - best of all and makes perfect coffee shop coffee for a cost of 8p per cup.
Highly recommend!

Sama price as curry's in the sale. Good price but beware it feels cheap and plasticy despite looking good from far.

Also same price at Currys:

Very good price. Bean to Cup machines with built in grinders really coming down these days.

Older model with the manual frother which in my opinion is better because you can froth/steam the milk to your requirements. Good price, heat added.

Any good discount codes going for currys?

£300 to make a cup of coffee?

One born every minute.

Comments like that are a real help on a deal! Great work!

Think you've misunderstood the deal actually. £300 buys you the machine. The cup of coffee then costs you the price of the coffee beans, electricity and milk.

Hope this helps

Thanks the heat guys. Think I may actually buy this at Currys as I remember I've got a Currys/PCWorld gift card.

It's between this model and the Saeco deal on offer at JL at £329. I think this may be the better of the two though. Decisions, decisions.

Forget Saeco-biggest crap and very unreliable.

I have a De'Longhi bean to cup and did loads of research prior to buying it and they appear to be better than the saeco machines.

By the way this is a good deal

These were originally for a comet production run in the UK, but since its demise have been sold in a variety of places. I’ve had this machine for 2 years and it makes superb espresso.

Only advice is that as it has a single boiler, the "long" drink option (Americano) simply pushes more water through the coffee puck which can give a very bitter taste. Much better to brew the espresso shot, and then add fresh boiled water from the kettle or the wand (in hot water mode)

Great price BTW - have some heat and ignore those commenters that have an unrefined palette. You get what you pay for!

If only the boss would let me spend £300 on a coffee machine!

I opted to get the gaggia classic and ordered a separate non pressurised filter basket, and do it manually as I have a grinder already. want to learn hoe to pull an espresso like a barista? Get the classic. lazy and want good coffee without the hassle? Get this. either way, fresh is best.

I live in fear that my Gaggia bean-to-cup will die and leave me at the mercy of instant coffee. Would it be excessive to buy this as a backup for the day it happens?

You mean a bit like buying your own TV/PC or Washing machine.....silly silly people just sit on the floor of your local electrical store watch their TVs in-store whilst washing your clothes in there display machines..they even give you a fridge to put your drinks in....buying your own..silly silly people!

Heat added, makes a nice change to the 1000 pod machines posted daily at HUKD.

Here's your backup - bmstores.co.uk/pro…967

EDIT: Just spotted "Simply ***poor*** cold water and add your favourite ground coffee"

Sounds amazing, but can't see myself buying one any time soon as it would get trashed in our house and I haven't got a man cave yet.

Great price... thought the milk carafe on the higher models is awesome.

Do you say the same about the cost of an oven for food?
£500 for a jacket potato, one born every minute.

I got the Gaggia Baby (very similar to the classic) when it was on Amazon for £100. Great machine - would definitely recommend it. Once you get used to the process you can make an espresso and clean up in about 2 minutes. I can see the appeal of BTC machines though.

How do these compare to Nespresso? I got one recently and it's absolutely tremendous. I suspect this is several level above even that which kinda blows my mind a little

It's easier to get forgiveness than permission

I have had the 4200 for a year or so now and can't fault it, although I now spend a fortune on really good coffee beans!

Cracking deal, heat added. I have the 4000 and paid £292 for it last July, great coffee machines and no mess; just stick the cup under, press the button and wait.

Have the one up from this with the millk container - Excellent range of machines and a steal at this price (actually talked my mum into buying one last weekend from Currys - quidco!)

Great price for the kit. Thanks OP.

Buy a cafetiere and stop being so melodramatic

I got this machine 3 weeks ago from Currys http:// hotukdeals.com/dea…260 (expired by someone for some reason) and it is brilliant. I live my coffee and make a fair amount. In the comments, someone mentioned coffee-direct.co.uk and they are also brilliant. I have not doubted the purchase at all. Didn't need a milk frother and drink short coffees, although the long Americano I made once wasn't bitter (I feared it might be)

Here we go, didn't take long........The financial advisor has spoken. This is a good saving for this machine and if someone wants to spend this amount on a coffee machine which will give them pleasure and will end up saving them money years down the line then so be it. Compared with coffee shop prices, this machine will pay for itself within 6 months.

I have this. It's my 3rd bean-to-cup machine and by far the best. Previous ones blew up (Gaggia and AEG).

Its like comparing a BMW to a Fiat

Of course the advantage of the a bean machine is that you can put in any coffee that you prefer, you are not just limited to the variety from the pod.

You find yourself trying a new variety each time, which adds to the fun!

Try Rave coffee, excellent fresh beans - but the prices are superb. They also sell via Amazon so if you get any gift vouchers or incetives from work, you can use them there. (ravecoffee.co.uk)

I find the long coffee over extracted (as per my earlier comment) but it will depend on the beans you use. if you have found some that work for you it saves the faff of topping up with fresh water.
