So Makro have finally joined the 21st century and opened an online store with delivery, so you don't have to physically go into their ghastly branches. When did that happen?

Good deal, btw, heat added.
I've had one of these for many years and it's a great bit of kit - certainly heats up a big room very quickly. and I've always found it very cost-effective.

If people are voting cold because of the other "cheaper" deals on smaller or unbranded heaters please remember that this can give up to 3KW of power and (I assume) also has Delonghi's 10 year guarantee.
no idea people voting code. This is one of the top range heater.

If you can find cheaper one somewhere else, please post here
I presume voting cold because you can buy 2 1.5kw DeLonghi Dragon3 oil filled rads for £84 thereby providing 3kw in a more flexible way.
I get the point of the high power and yes the rapid heat is good, but tbh i cant see it being much faster to heat than the £42 Dragon3 or even the £70 2.5kw Delonghi.

And they're all >99% efficient so... why spend so much?

I've not voted cos this may well be cheap for this model, and some people will want 3kw in a single heater so great for those looking for this model. Rip off for those just wanting an OFR.
Hot for me, you can't buy it cheaper elsewhere so whether you like the product or not is irrelevant. It's a HOT DEAL if you want one of these!
PS I bought one thanks.
I'm considering a Butane Catalytic heater http://www.flogas.co.uk/prod/128/superser-mini-catalytic

Any comments on economy? It will be used not to frequently to heat a 3m x 3.5 m conservatory (Only when someone uses it and thats not to often).

My gas BBQ cylinder seems to last donkeys.

my friend is going to buy two but any idea where abouts it says about the guarantee? Thanks

Makro replied "The suppliers have confirmed that you will also have a 10 year guarantee with them, although you will have to register the product and fill out any necessary paperwork that will come with the product.
This will need to be arranged directly with them. "
