Fantastic price, been watching this for a year, not sure why people say it …Fantastic price, been watching this for a year, not sure why people say it regularly goes this price - this model hasn't gone below 400 except once during black friday for about 10 minutes, thanks to an alert from camelcamel. It promptly went back up to 500+ minutes later, so was lucky to snag one for 399. This price is crazy good.It was voted HOT around prime day when currys sold it for around £450 (and the lower model for briefly around £320, then shortly after £350).So this is an absolute steal. It doesn't need any configuration you just press what you want in the easy menu. Personally I just use the hot water attachment and add milk myself, but for the odd latte you just press... 'latte'... and that's it. Although I find it easier to just make a normal coffee then add the frothy milk cos you can control the amount better.Takes 2 seconds to fill up the water thing, no complaints there. People having a moan over nothing. This machine is damn good if you ask me.

Open the infuser door (found on the right hand side of the machine) there should be a product number on that.

Trying to register me mine, anyone can advise where I can find the product number¿ thx

I have mine sat on a wooden board and when it's time to fill up with beans (in the top of the primadonna I have, whereas water tank comes out the front), I simply slide the whole machine out, twist it around on the board, fill and then slide back in under the units. I don't find it an issue at all.

is the premium worth it over the 2800 or 4200 models?

I got AO to price match, which they were happy to do. Just felt a bit more comfortable dealing with their CS than Delonghi if anything went wrong. Delighted with the machine and great price (approx half of what John Lewis are asking)

Hot from me.

I bought the Eletta ECAM 44.660.B on black Friday fro £370, but this is just the super compact version of that. Very good price!

You just see one side of the story and just reading what you want to. Watch the video for prima donna then you'll see the difference. I have the Delonghi Autentica and the options are nowhere near this machine in terms of customising your coffee and you can create more profiles to make life easier. I agree the rrp price is stupidly priced but 900 is a good price for Wi-Fi, hot chocolate function, LED colour controls etc. If you don't like it don't buy it, but your words sound condescending even though you might not intend to be.

So an extra £500 for a colour screen and hot chocolate function that can be done on any of these bean to cups. It's not even close to being a 'good price'. It's for muppets who don't know any better.

Please tell me how this coffee machine is so much more?

Maybe some of the higher end ones like the Eletta or Prima Donna would have more profiles?, some have a colour touch screen but they are quite expensive. If you want ease of use get one with a screen not one with manual controls at all, they will need changing for each different drink.I personally prefer using a steam wand, I find it easier and better. Do you have a John Lewis near you? They are very helpful and often do demonstrations on the models.

You seem to know a lot about coffee machines I currently have a Latissima touch and I love it because it's one touch. The coffee is however tepid at best and the brother gives warm milk. I'm looking for a bean to cup that is relatively easy to use but produces excellent coffee and milk based coffee without too much faff. I'd prefer it not to be too noisy and the coffee must be hot not warm.also not bothered about how big as I have the counter space. I'd prefer something finished quite metallic. And one that memorises hubby's and I preferences to make it easier. Max budget around £500. We make between 4 and six cups a day. Thanks in advance if you can help!

It also has a small capacity compared to the front loading ones.Which extra features do you want? I'm very happy with the ECAM23.420 I got from Currys, I tested it back to back with my Autentica and it makes better coffee. I tested the water temp with a thermometer on both and this is about 8c higher consistently. I guess you can mess around with temp settings but I get the impression the bigger machine is better from using it.Well done on the repair, it's a great feeling when you fix something

I prefer this as it has a couple of extra features but may well opt for the Elleta. On another note- I managed to repair the one I dropped for a grand total of £15 and an less than an hour works. I replaced the steam valve.

Yeah, I thought about this myself when thinking about a higher (20l) one which was higher rated energy but would hopefully extract more water/hour. Unfortuneately couldn't find any £/l figures which would have helped so went on wattage/reviews. Like I said, this one, for the price, seemed like a good deal.
