Must admit I have never hard of white pudding but love black

I prefer white pudding as it has that spicy peppery taste

My mum and dad used to get their black puddings from Bury! I just can't bring myself to try them. oO

Has anyone tried them?

Love black pudding, got some in the fridge for breakfast mmmmmm

I like black puddings with a tasty cooked breakfast, white puddings in batter with chips from chip shop ☺

Takes me back to my childhood on the (World Famous) Bury Market.
Choice of fatty or lean, plenty of red sauce and a splash of mustard.
Heaven

Always bet on black.

I love Bury blackpud but try others whenever I can. Costco do one that's about a foot long and is only about £2.50. Slice it then freeze it. Lasts ages. Found a good one in home bargains last week. +1 for battered haggis

Michael Jackson never thought so.

Black more tastier than white, imho. Have both of these from lidl when visiting family In Ireland. Gonna grab both tomoz

hmm, fat or blood & fat, tough choice

Great with the traditional Christmas Day morning fry up. Or is it just me who has those? lol

Real carnivores go all in, none of this namby pamby skinless chicken breasts etc!

Got me thinking now, will white make a direct replacement for black? My 'signature dish' as it were is a bone in chicken breast, haggis stuffed between bone and breast with crumbled black pudding under the skin and wrapped in smoked streaky. I can't see white pudding working to replace the black but maybe the haggis? Will give it a go!

lol, no wonder I didn't see it in Coventry. The Lidl one us awful, fed it the dog in the end. Home Bargains one is great though

they sell both in home bargains and in poundland. funny bargain stores are best for these puddings.
