Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes go at it amid a dazzling cyber-future in this explosive hit. In 2032 arch-criminal Simon Phoenix (Snipes) awakens from a 35-year deep freeze in CryoPrison to find a serene, nonviolent Los Angeles ready for the taking. Unable to deal with Phoenix's brutal 1990's style, officials-seek an old-fashioned cop to fight old-fashion crime. They revive Sgt. John Spartan (Stallone), unjustly serving a CryoPrison sentence because of his last encounter with Phoenix. Sandra Bullock and Benjamin Bratt (TV's Law and Order) also uphold the law in this 'terrific mix of action and humour' (Joel Siegel, Good Morning America/ABC-TV).

hot. awesome film.

Voted hot. Seen it loads of times on TV, but it never bores me.

The switch from Taco Bell to Pizza Hut (I saw the latter on the cinema) was hilarious and weird. If you get to see this version, watch the lips when Raymond Cocteau says "... a dinner at PIZZA HUT". They didn't even bother to shoot a different scene (or just decided to change it in post-production).

Still waiting for the day I clean my **** with three sea shells. I guess we must be nearer to the year depicted in the movie than the year it was filmed in, and all that's happened in toilet paper technology as far as I'm aware is that I can but some overpriced Aloe Vera treated poop-paper. Pah.

Wait 'till apple releases the iPoop

Cracking film in its day and though I haven't seen it in years I would still watch it today... ah back when Snipes did decent films that didn't go straight to DVD at this price within a week of release

One of my favourites. Heat added.

Chief, you can take this job, and you can shovel it.
Take this job... and shovel it.
Yeah?
Close enough

"...Is it cold in here...or just me?..."

Even though I already own a copy, it's still a hot price for a classic 90's action flick.

H & R to OP

lol yeah

How do you use the 3 shells?

I still wonder....

film looks a bit dated now

Awesome film, timeless classic

Whats your boggle?

A great film but take the word of someone who owns this disk, it has possibly one of the worst DVD transfers of any Hollywood movie, truly abysmal.

Better off recording the remastered version on Sky Movies

i like when sly and sandra bullock refer to president schwarzenegger and sly shivers and laughs....cos it seemed so impossible back then!lol

Good film for less than a pound
