I had already stated that in the body of the text.

Take care that 24cm is real the size of the dish. I bought a Viners casserole recently (different company I know), but the measurement was from the extremes of the handles. The complaint is still in the system.

I think we spoke about this on another thread. Yes my sister ordered that viners one too, it was more like 22cm,a porcelain dish. The first one arrived smashed too. I believe the cast iron ones are measured in the inside diameter, though couldn't swear to it!

Ordered a 24cm Casserole dish using £10 Tesco reward vouchers which took off £20 bringing the grand total down from £40.95 to just £20.95.

Thank you for posting.. have some heat from me.

So tempted

Have omelette pan and large casserole from denby. Seem good quality. Only permanent branding engraved in casserole lid handle. Omelette pan unbranded. I know they still work and very happy with them but don't have any identity in the design like le creuset. Some people may think of giving as a gift and this may be an issue? Great value though, heat given!

I don't recall mentioning it on here so there may be even more people with an issue. Has your sister complained to Viners about it yet? I have send 2 emails and used their online report form but no answers, so I have had to use snail mail. Viners has been very good on customer service before, giving me a £100 set of knives to replace a faulty set that only cost me £15 to start with. I guess their electronic communications are lacking rather than anything else.

Yes she phoned them when the first one arrived smashed to pieces. The man was very nice and apologetic and said he would send a new one out immediately. He told her just to keep the display tray from the first one. Well the second one did arrive, intact, but the tray for that one was weirdly broken! So she has one intact tray and one intact dish and lid. Very weird. And yes, there was a whole thread about people having similar problems with recent Viners purchases.
