Whilst not the cheapest these have ever been, it’s the cheapest I have seen them recently.

This 12 piece dinner set includes 4 dinner plates (27cm diameter), 4 side plates (22.5cm diameter) and 4 bowls (17cm diameter).

Free click and collect or delivery from £3.00.

A black pepper dinner set for £30, that’s not to be sneezed at!
Sadly the everyday range from Denby is like the home inspiration range from Yankee candle - they chip easily and it's a complete pain trying to get individual pieces. I've got imperial blue from Denby that's been used every day for years without a chip but friends of mine bought the everyday black and it didn't even last a year before they had to replace it as so much had chipped.

Thanks. Needed some new plates
These things last forever I have had my denby for over 20 years and wish they were this price in those day :-)
Very cheap for Denby! Excellent deal. Had my Denby for 20 years without a chip unlike the new China made Portmeirion which chipped within a few months!

That's very good to highlight the differences. I would not know that as I have never purchased the product so would have the wrong impression of the brand .Thanks .

Maybe your friend adopts a cavalier attitude to dishwasher stacking, causing more chips. Does she seem clumsy?

Had two sets of these from Tesco last year (thanks to HUKD) for a slightly cheaper price and they're still good as new. Just wish i'd bought the matching mugs that were discounted at the time.
This reminds me I need some largish plates and new bowls for Xmas guests. I'm going to hit the charity shop this morning. With a bit of luck I'll pick up a quality full set for around a tenner. Dead man's plates.
Too prone to chipping, avoid as you will be forever replacing bits.

I agree. Worse still a nightmare to get clean in the dishwasher. Ended up reverting back to an older cheaper set that the dishwasher never had any problems with

I wouldn't thinks so. They just seem to be rather prone to chipping. I've had two of these sets and both chip far too easily.

Would completely disagree, had this set for years and not one chip or scratch. It's had knocks, drops etc and immaculate.

Exactly this. Makes you wonder what some people actually do with their plates etc.
I bought two sets of these about 6 months ago from Tesco when they were £25 each. I love the quality but the only negative I find is the edge of the plate is so shallow that any gravy or any fluid substance is at risk of going over the edge
Just what I'm looking for! Thanks for posting! Have some heat from me
I have to agree with a few of the above posts. These are nowhere near the quality of the main Denby ranges. There's a reason the RRP is £75 for a 12-piece set and Denby main line plates are £20-30 a piece. These are more like a standard supermarket branded set which you would ordinarily pay £20-30 for. To be fair though, they are a nice looking set for £30. Just don't expect Denby quality.
I got these a month or so ago for the same price, they are a xmas pressie for a relative and I have to say they look really nice, the reviews are very favorable..I am sure they will be absolutely fine..
