Splendid post.

GIFT10 should get you 10% off, valid until 29 May:)

Delivery is £5.95 if you spend less than £100.

Is it also available in store or online only?

Just checked the deal - looks like online only

Nice one! I've been eyeing up the glasses, but thought they were rather expensive!! Now I can get them- hot, hot, hot

oooh i really wanted the cast iron pan from there but i never manage to get enough points heat added

Nice post, just got over £100 (retail price) for £20 with a £60 voucher exchange. Thanks

Lovely stuff as well.

Thanks, that's Father's Day sorted - book spine lap tray for each 6.80 reduced from 17.00 and then a couple of extra bits for me to make it 30.00. Even paying postage I think that's good x

I'm a bit concerned that some of the stuff will go out of stock by the time it takes them to send me the voucher. Especially now it's been posted to facebook. How long do Tesco usually take to email it?

Last time the voucher offer was on, I reported on a Denby offer that it was within minutes of sending your request so you should be fine.

Hi - It only took about 10 mins for us - we had the order ready to go. Make sure you put the codes into 'promotional code' and not 'voucher code' - this slowed us down by a couple of mins.

Great deal BTW - Thanks

Just found it. It's the top comment on this one. Might contain codes you can still use:-

I used it last time it was a hot deal. Very satisfied customer. Was it only 50% off then as well?

I'm all stocked up now so won't be using it, but very, very hot anyway.

You have to make sure your basket value equals or exceeds the amount of the voucher.
if you have £9 in your basket it won't let you use a £10 voucher. you have to have £10 or more in basket.

At least that's what it did to me, also make sure when you copy and paste the code from the email it doesn't have any spaces or white characters after/before it.

Thanks for the reply, I had to ring customer services in the end. Used £20 of vouchers for glasses that came to £63. Well pleased.

Most of the clearance items were sold out before this was posted, though there are discounts on pretty much everything else anyway, so still great prices with Tesco vouchers!

I'm looking for a good wok. Should I go for Hard Anodised or Stainless Steel ? Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

Just ordered with £30 worth of tesco clubcard vouchers-£90, used 5% discount code and got the order over£100, free delivery, paid just over £9!

It depends how long you want it to last!

I've learnt from years of using different pans and pots, that a non-stick coating like Teflon or Circulon doesn't last very long. Both the Denby wok's have the same Teflon coating. The manufacturers advise you not to heat Teflon to high temperatures, and not to heat the cookware before adding oil or food otherwise it releases chemicals and wears down. A wok needs both of these properties to heat food properly, so a non-stick coating like Teflon isn't ideal. For the first few months they're great, but then they slowly start wearing down, peeling, and food will start sticking.

Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel (without a Teflon coating) has a natural non-stick property when cooking at high heat, which stops food sticking to the pan, and they last a life time, but you have to know how to cook properly with them. Carbon Steel is the preferred and traditional material for woks as it conducts heat better than Stainless Steel, and they're also dirt cheap, you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on one to get great results, unlike most things! You do however have to season them, and learn how to cook properly with them. I'd advise reading up on it first to see which is more suitable for you, or to try a cheap carbon steel wok to see how you like it.

If you don't fancy getting a carbon steel wok, then either of the Denby woks should be fine, aluminium (hard anodized) should conduct heat better than the stainless steel one, so that might be a better option. Just bear in mind that they won't last a lifetime.

Jeez.... I do wish these vouchers would hurry up and come through! What's the odds the £133 worth of sale price items are no longer available by the time they get here!
