Apparently this is 72% off and with the extra voucher code I put in it reduced to the above price. Not sure if Debenhams do quidco, forgot to look!

Search for Voucher code Debenhams and give rep to the too.

Just seen a similar set for £115 in John Lewis!

2 of the oyster glasses are £14.40 on amazon making this a cracking deal!

This seems a good deal and you get a further 6% off with Quidco.

Thanks for the links. Unfortunately can't get any of those codes to work.

That's a bit strange, they worked for me only this morning. Are you registered with them first?? I firstly put in the sha1 code for free delivery and then I did the 5% one as I don't think the others work and stop the 5% one from working if you put the others in first?? I am sure I read somewhere on one of these threads that you had to put the 5% in first?? Can't remember which thread it was now?? Take it out of your basket so you are starting from fresh and then do the 5% one first and see if that works

Lol, been there myself a few times.

could anyone confirm is the cereal bowl the same as in

debenhams.com/web…_-1

the shooting angle is really wierd.
Thanks for info.

Seems like a bit of an odd set...

I can't decide if this is a good deal. It's £35.53 after P&P taking the possible Quidco cashback into account. Works out to £2.22 an item if you value them all equally.
If I saw a glass tumbler for £2.22 I wouldn't think wow great deal, nor if I saw a plate for that price, etc. Maybe if they were a bit more stylish than just plain and white - although undoubtably very high quality, can't help thinking plain white looks similiar to a student starter set unless it's got some detailing or something (I'm such a snob haha).

I have some Denby plates etc and they are very nice. It's top quality stuff, I suppose if a plate is a plate to you it won't make any difference!

Good point when you break it down into individual prices. Can anyone confirm whether the quality is any good?

Hi

Sorry in my opinion the quality of denby white is nothing like other types of denby, I am a huge fan of denby but bought denby white a year ago, it is chipped scratched and is now unusable.

Different experience for me, quality has been great!

The description says includes side plates but that's not correct is it?
Very tempted to get theses but i need 2 sets and can only get free delivery to work...Do i need to spend nearly £90 on plates etc....ahhhhhhh

Thanks, I left my Wife with it and she's a persistent so so - especially when it comes to this kind of stuff.
Order complete :-D

I agree with Daniso, this isn't good quality. We bought quite a few bits of the white set and it chipped very easily. I haven't bothered to replace it as it just isn't very good.

I've gone back to using a heavier type Denby set that I have had for over 20 years and is still going strong.

just had my order cancelled, has anyone else???

There's Denby & there's Denby.

The good stuff will be the UK made stoneware - I will be very surprised if this is ever reduced to this extent anywhere. The white porcelain is likely to be sourced from China/India/Indonesia etc... with a Denby backstamp. Probably made in the same factory as stuff made for Argos and Woolies.

If you are a brand name ho' go for it, not for me tho :whistling:
