This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Had one in these for my basket for a few mins before hitting the button to buy as decided the £100 saving would be better than the £449 with the 6 year warranty (my current Technics amp has lated near on 20 years so I will be happy with half of that).

BUY THIS.

It's amazing.
It says clearance products are only guaranteed for 12 months. Is that instead of the 6 years on new?

Yes instead of the 6 years.

Thought I'd take a chance and guess you would have some comeback of it was over the 1 year (consumer rights act/paying on credit card etc) as even when other items suggest a 1 year warranty new they can't stand by that.
Also I went through Top Cashback as well and will hopefully get 2%.😁
Sorry but not sure if there are anymore available now?

Did anybody else manage to get one at that price?
Will be this price brand new soon, x2700 is on it's way.

I did think of that but I think the X2700 is not due until September?
Is this oos?
Can’t see a buy button.

Believe so, just depends on how despearate you are
I’ve got the 2500H and it’s brilliant. I’d highly recommend this

Damn that's strange.

I'm guessing they may have all gone.

I went back into it once I bought mine and there was still the option to buy.

Guess I must have got lucky.

There is a AVR-X4500 on the reduction page as well.
I own the 2400H and I see no reason to upgrade, but obviously if your in the market then this is a great price, excellent receiver.

Unless you need more channels or more power the only real reason is when we have a new audio codec or HDMI spec, which this doesn't have.

I'd be interested if anybody else on here got one as it seems to have expired now?
Have just expired this deal as don't think there are any more available?

It got delivered today and I spent a fair bit of time swapping it over from my 20 year old Technics to find I only got sound out during the initial setup and also Internet radio (not out the HDMI ports or the optical in).

Spent a while speaking to the technical help and tried a few things and in the end they decided they would collect it and give me a refund.

So I will be on the hunt for a new amp again (still trying to decide on whether upgrading to the Denon 3600 or the Yamaha 880).
Maybe I won’t be buying refurbished from richer sounds in the future then!

Yes although I must admit they were very good trying to resolve the issue and no quibbles about it. 😁

Do not take the chance. My Denon 2400 had to be repaired 3 times within 2 years and was eventually returned for a refund. That's probably what has happened here - you're buying a device that has been patched up to hopefully last another year before it finally conks out.

OK thanks for that.

Were you saying you wouldn't trust Denon again?

I'm also thinking of a Yamaha amp (think the model was RX880).

What did you replace the Denon with in the end?

Hard to draw general conclusions, I probably would give Denon another chance as maybe I was just unlucky. But I definitely wouldn't buy a refurbished unit if RS aren't willing to stand behind their product with a normal warranty. I haven't bought a replacement yet.

OK thanks for the reply.

I think I may give the AVR-X3600 a go (hopefully a decent price new with a 6 year warranty comes up). 😁
Have just phoned my nearest Richer Sounds and they had the AVR-X3600 for £695 with the 6 year warranty so have purchased one as they knocked £30 off taking it down to £665.

They have not got them in stock but still ship once they get some in (hopefully not too long to wait as can't be bothered to reconnect my old Technics amp). 😁
