hukdbargain isn't actually meaning it's an unknown brand, just being sarcastic

Anyone recommend a good 5.1 speaker set up to go with this?

Could this handle 3 ohm speakers?

Puny power output, thd probs over 1% flat out too no doubt! I'm sticking with my Technika, proper quality as opposed to this unknown brand rip off of dysons good name imo, thanks op. Hot mind.

Lol

This would be good for those very expensive “Amstrad” speakers we all had in the mid ’70s which were all the rage amongst us audiophiles back then. Of course, you’d have to take the shoes out of them first, but they had a lot of sound in them. Mainly a cardboardy sound.

Nice but strange connections for the speakers, I know they're common but not the kind that'll accept any decent cable. Actually they're the type you expect to find in a hifi not a good separates amp.

At 99 quid you would expect it but at the supposed 250 RRP I would have expected binding posts as opposed to these horrible spring clips. It does make you wonder what kind of corners have been cut internally to keep cost down. I'm looking for a cheap remote controlled amp with a sub out to use in 2.1 mode for the TV in my living room but for now I think I'll stick with my pre dolby digital Yamaha pro logic amp.

This may be a cheap but alot of corners have been cut on this model , do a bit of reading as this really is and entry level in av !!

So 90s tbh

It makes me laugh that on a deals website when something cheap and discounted is posted there is no shortage of people to rock up and point out its not as good as the top of the range. This amp probably isn't the best spec with the best components but it is 99 quid, a good 4 way HDMI switch would cost most of that. If you are in the market for a £100 amp then I'm sure you won't be disappointed with your purchase.

Great price & heat added, can't go wrong for the money. Shame you can't buy online with these deals, Richer Sounds are miles away from me, a right pain to get to.

TBH I'm not sure how good a receiver would be from a yoghurt company.

Many thanks StealthX for the post.

Reserved one at London Swiss Cottage for later, who have a few new ones in stock at the moment.

Bagged one to update my aging Sony AV amp sans HDMI, gotta be better than a soundbar, eh?
