Are you sure? This one is pretty close.

what's wrong with it? seems like a good deal to me!

dalts

Why?

Why is everyone concentrating on the above little troll instead of what a great deal this is. Shut up you little ****, this is a great deal and lots of people will appreciate the post, I just hope people see past your comments.
:-*

cracking deal have some heat

This is a great deal. Forgot the fool with the £129 comment. My last av amp cost £350 10yrs ago and died on the weekend. I was toying on buying a 8yr old pioneer amp from gumtree for £100 (£1000 new back in the day). I'm gonna consider the Denon as it's such a good price.
So the fool knows nothing about the price of Audio equipment.

Probably pops up on apple posts too...

Seems like a great price was considering the Harman Kardon one (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/harman-kardon-avr-171-7-2-channel-4k-ready-networked-avr-with-airplay-bluetooth-1703870) that was on here a few weeks ago. Am a newbie and never bought one of these before so unsure at the mo….

personally I'm disappinted not to see proper banana plug / posts on the back. I hate those bloody clip connector things..

However, the front HDMI is good IMO and also it does have

• Standby HDMI Pass through

Which is vital for me.

Nice find OP - heat added

Good deal - heat added. I'm on the lookout for an av receiver but this one has no usb and is a bit short on HDMI inputs - might get the Denon 2000 from Richer Sounds for £249.......or the Yamaha system Tyson have on offer

How many HDMI sockets do you need? Surely three at rear is enough? One for Sky / Virgin, one for HTPC and one for Games Console? What else mate?

Youview box, BR player, xbox one and xbox 360.........means no spare HDMI if I ever wanted to buy anything else in the future....

it is a bit light on HDMI ports , but for an entry level box seems like a good deal.

Red hot!

Nice find.

The Yamaha package is a good price but the amp doesnt have HDMI standby passthrough if you need this feature.

Easy solution - ditch the two xboxes and BR player, buy a PS4. ;-P

I can use the Xbox one as a br player and use my tablet as a remote but its still not as convenient as a dedicated br player but if I get the Yamaha system, I'm still limited to 4 hdmi sockets so might just not bother with a BR player......

You could always go the HTPC route - I did that a couple of years back once I got truly fed up with media boxes and file compatibility etc. I find that gives me everything I could possibly need outside of gaming. Quick, totally silent, plays everything from my NAS etc.

And if you still want movies on demand and know what you're doing, you can still get whatever you want....

Nice one...

nice entry model,
pita it's only 3 HDMI (hence the low price IMHO) and no radio tuner?

not if you want to play 3D

Great deal, if you're only after basic functions and don't need all the bells and whistles, this probably can't be beat!!

Heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If after more functions the X2000 is £249

When you look at what you can buy for £130, this looks incredible value for money.

Not a great time to be buying an amp if you are interested in 4K ...

even although they advertise 4K pass-through as a feature they won't be able truly to handle most 4K video until HDMI2 comes on the scene early part of next year.

On the other hand if 4K doesn't interest you then you will be able to pick up some great bargains as these older models are phased out.

If you are planning to simply upgrade I would sit tight though unless you want to upgrade again when 4K is mainstream.

I already have LG 5.1 speakers but it has a passive amp. Can I use it with this receiver?

Bit of a technophobe so no laughing......

Speakers would work but u would need to ditch the sub and buy an active one. Basic yamaha one is around £70quid

Thank you. I did think that but just thought I would check.

Is this worth getting as a start? We haven't got anything at the moment and the sound from our TV is shocking, so I've been meaning to get a decent audio setup but without costing the earth.

I've only got a PS3 to use with it, possibly a PC in the future.

Good find. After wrestling with myself for the past week, I've ordered. Heat added.
I think this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for! Thanks.

I don't need it, I don't need it, I don't need it.............

expired, £150 now.
