ABSOLUTELY A STEAL AT THIS PRICE! It retails at over £120/$200, often rated one of best sounding headphone under $200.

Wonderful entry Audiophile headphone with a fantastic bass response. Their build quality is a lot better than what some people says. I have used mine for over 7 month after heavy use and no sign of build quality issue. I also have the more expensive high end D2000 and D5000, to be honest, the D1100 competes well, with a richer bass.

It's shocking to see Beats Solo HD and Studio headphones deals getting hot when these sound MUCH MUCH better without looking like someone have more money than sense without any knowledge of audio quality. These look classier too.

I have done a number of blind tests including sound engineers and sale assistant from HMV, they all prefered the Denon D1100 hands down compared to the Beats Studio regardless the price. The Denon has better bass and much higher definition.

Great reviews of these on Head-fi.

RRP over £140 so a bargain at this price.

Good price. I got these last week at £37.99. Heat
Great find. Had a look myself and couldn't find them cheaper. Just ordered some!
Lots of chinese counterfit headphones around on eBay. I've bought at least 4 pairs between eBay and amazon market place. Was able to get refunds for all, but you might not be so lucky. If you buy cheap from unknown sources, you'll likely to get a fake. Only buy from a reliable source, that would be my advice.
How could you tell they were fakes?
I bought one at £39.99 several weeks ago and use it in my office at the moment. I can assure that it is a genuine Denon product. It is easy to drive and no headphone amplifier needed. Its close back design is perfect for office using by keeping all the noise away from you. If you are a bass people, it is the right headphone for you. Just plug it into your laptop and enjoy the music.

Cheers, dude.
Although I'm really tempted by these at this price there are quite a few reviews on amazon commenting on poor build quality of the headband amazon.co.uk/gp/…ics

The build quality is pretty good actually. Those find poor build quality might have bought from a faulty batch, but the one I have is built very sturdy. Better build certainly than the Bose AE2 which has a similar style.

I bought for 37.99 2-3 weeks ago and very happy ...sound quality is amazing! Lets order one more seller has only 69items at the moment...

Any better sub £50 headphones on the market? Reviews for these are cracking

It's very difficult because even the packing are well made "to look like the real thing". If you read negative feedback on amazon or forums, you'll find that people who complain about bad sound or workmanship, most likely bought a fake.

You will only know for sure when you send them to the manufactor for a check. This is why I would only buy a headphone from an approved source (a dealer who purchases from Denon UK directly).
build quality is let down
How do these compare against the Goldring NS-1000's?
Hmm may be real, or may not be. A third the price some other sites are asking so I won't bother...
you are far better buyind the deal I posted for £85 which got voted cold as people dont understand headphones they were for Audio Technica ATH-AD700

yes it is £50 more, but the difference will blow your mind, they are generally regarded in nearly all reviews to be pound for pound the best headphones on the market....

Not saying these Denon will dissapoint though

Why are you posting this product from the same retailer twice? SPAM.
Currys were doing these for about £28 not long ago on here.
Hot deal at this price. I paid 90 quid for a pair of these around a year or so ago and they're great. Despite what they look like the band is very robust and the sound quality is great. If these are legit then don't hesitate for 38 quid.

I would say unlikely, Denons ranked 6th/105 headphones and ones above all £100+

I've seen them go for £30-£40 in ebay auctions, so no, your deal is terrible despite the headphones being awesome
Cheers, ordered 2 & now sold out, so expired the deal
All gone. Great. My paypal was out of date.

I don't think these are really worth more than about £20.

Poor sound, but I am used to my Grados RS1.
Thanks. Good deal but after ordering I'm a bit worried about the seller.
Missed it....

Completed listings since 24th November, yes that's plenty to go on, ever consider that there were listings before then?. Please take your idiocy elsewhere, reading your comments just decreased my IQ by a few points.
You know what they say about too good to be true? Buy it, take it to your local Denon dealer and learn your lesson!

Well, they've been shipped - we'll soon see. . . .
So, they've arrived and I can say with some certainty that they're not fake.
They come in perfect packaging with all the bits and pieces you'd expect and they look identical to those the Denon website:
Here's my set

Most importantly even without being "run-in" they're the best sounding headphones I've ever used . . .

Glad to hear that you're happy. As I said before, not all fakes are equal. Some are better than others. I had a pair of Koss Porta Pro from Amazon Marketplace (fullfilled by amazon - dealer now struck off), which sounded not that bad. It was only when I compared them with my original pair that I could hear a big difference. Yours look the same, but that doesn't mean they are genuine. But for this price and if you are happy with the sound, I wouldn't bother finding out.
Hopefully we'll hear from some of the other "lucky" recipients and find out what they think.
