Here's the crack
£150 in Tandy
I own one of these, it's a great device. I have a Chromecast Audio and Amazon Echo plugged in to it. The Chromecast Audio is via a 3.5mm optical cable to TOSLink optical. So I'm covered for all the music I want to listen to. I have some Heybrook Helios speakers and to my 46 year old ears it sounds great.
Not Goodman's though is it.

Google "LOUGHBORO.GUY"...

For someone who's been on the forum since 2011, I'm a little suprised you didn't catch the reference.

WhatHifi says the much more expensive DM41 £279 (has digital inputs but loses the USB input) is well worth the extra money compared to DM40.

Yes and you should realise that after you've seen the same unfunny joke 50 times over it gets very tiresome.

Right.........

But your retort made no acknowledgement of it, and thus made no sense at all.

Worth the extra £100? Probably look into a cheap AV at this price if the size isn't so important and the CD player isn't needed. Much more functionality. Like the Denon X2300 for example.

I totally agree that denon avrx2300 is a much much better buy if pay £100 extra..actually a bit more than £100.. its about £300 but its worth the money for the features and "what hi-fi 5 star"review
Silver version for £149 (once again).
